This coming Sunday is Easter, a Christian holiday in which we celebrate the resurrection of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

The moment Jesus yielded up His Spirit on the cross there were several miracles. There was an earthquake, the rocks split, and the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

This veil symbolized the separation of God and man. Only the high priest and the direct descendant of Aaron could walk through this veil on the Day of Atonement to sprinkle the blood of the atoning sacrifice.

In the Old Testament man was not worthy to stand in the presence of our Holy God. Immediately when Jesus died, God Himself tore the veil in two which also speaks of the body of Jesus Christ being broken on our behalf to make access to Him possible.

We could now come before Him through this Covenant that Jesus made with us through the shedding of His blood.

The graves were instantly opened and many bodies of the saints which slept were risen. They went into the Holy City and appeared to many after Jesus resurrection. (Matthew 27:52-53)

Three days after Jesus was buried Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to His tomb with spices to anoint His body for burial but His body was not there. The stone was rolled away and two men appeared to them and said, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! For forty days after He was risen, Jesus appeared to His disciples teaching them and proving with many convincing signs that He had been resurrected. (Act 1:3-5)

There is a resurrection coming to the body of Christ. It is not a physical resurrection but The Holy Spirit is about to spiritually resurrect His People.

He is about to resurrect things in our lives that have been dead and dormant. He’s about to resurrect dead dreams. He’s about to resurrect families and He’s about to resurrect our nation.

Jesus said, “I AM the resurrection and the Life. He who believes in Me though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.”

In the book of 2 Kings 4:8-36 the prophet Elisha went into a town called Shunem. (Shunem means double resting place).

There was a woman there who Elijah prophesied over saying that she was going to have a son. One year later she conceived and bore a son just as Elisha said but a few years later her promised son died.

She believed The Word of The LORD and refused to believe opposite of what The LORD promised. In the natural her life was falling apart.

When her husband asked her if she was alright she said “all is well”. When anyone asked her how she was doing, she would reply “All is well.”

Even though her baby was dead she believed Gods promise would come to pass. Many of you are walking around with promises from The LORD that have died.

There are prophetic words that you’ve received that have not come to pass but The LORD is about to resurrect every word that He has spoken over your life.

Elisha went into the house to the boy and He put his eyes to his eyes, his mouth to his mouth, his hands to his hands and stretched himself out upon him.

The boy’s body became warm. Elisha then walked back and forth and then stretched out on the boy a second time.

The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes as life returned to his body. Elisha told the women to go into the room and pick up her son. God had resurrected the Shunamite woman’s son.

There are promises that The LORD has made to you that have died. Some of you have ministries that were once thriving but are now nonexistent.

Some of you used to heal the sick but you feel as if the glory has left you. The LORD wants to resurrect the gifts and callings that have perished.

He is about to breathe into those situations that are impossible in the natural. Just as Elisha brought the Shunamite woman’s dead son back to life He is going to resuscitate you with his breath and revive those dead areas in your life.

He is breathing life into believers in this season of great exploits. Don’t look at things in the natural because The LORD is about to commission you in what he has called you to do.

As you rise up and decree and declare that “all is well” Jesus will honor your faith and raise that which is dead back to life.

“When Elisha came into the house, there was the child, lying dead on his bed. He went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to The LORD. And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm. He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.” 2 Kings 4:32–35.

“The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 33:4.

“Jesus said to her “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die he shall live.” John 11:25.

Blessings in Christ Jesus,
