God Must Purify The Worship Of His People

By Pieter Kirstein

God must purify the worship of His people.

Jeremiah 17:  7  Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose hope is the LORD.

8  For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters; it sends out its roots by the river, and it shall not fear when the heat comes, but its foliage shall be green; and he is not worried in the year of drought, nor will it cease from yielding fruit.

9  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

10  I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

11  As the quail that hatches eggs it has not laid; in the same way he who gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the middle of his days, and in his end he shall be a fool."

12  A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.

13  O LORD, the Hope of Israel, all who forsake You shall be ashamed. "Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth because they have forsaken the LORD, the Fountain of living waters."

14  Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed, save me, and I shall be saved; for You are my praise.

May we all have David's attitude in heartfelt repentance.

Psalms 51

1  To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your loving-kindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.

2  Wash me completely from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

3  For I confess my transgressions; and my sin [is] ever before me.

4  Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done evil in Your sight; that You might be justified when You speak, [and] be clear when You judge.

5  Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6  Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden part You shall make me to know wisdom.

7  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8  Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which You have broken may rejoice.

9  Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

10  Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

11  Cast me not away from Your presence, and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.

12  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

13  Then I will teach transgressors Your ways; and sinners shall be converted to You.

Righteousness is declared in the holiness and in the upright character and moral perfection of God.

It's a good thing to ask the Father to penetrate and expose your entire heart ❤ before Him. We all are in desperate need for constant change and spiritual growth through transformation until we reflect the image and likeness of Christ.

Jesus came to this earth 🌎 to demonstrate the heart of God to sinful man and the Father approached this sinful fallen world in love to draw us to himself through heartfelt repentance.

Romans 5:6  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

7  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die.

8  But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9  Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

10  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

11  And not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

18  He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20  For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

21  But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are worked in God.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Once you taste the holiness and the goodness of God and you realize the corruption of sin in the heart of man, then you continually cry out before the Lord to purify your heart ❤ because you grow in the understanding that without God you are sinful and corrupt to the core and in need of change.

You desire to worship God in Spirit and in truth because when you consider how gentle, kind, loving, gracious, patient, good and merciful He is, you cannot help but to grow in your desire to be like Him.

The Holy Spirit spoke the following about our transformation process:

As we bore the image of the earthy fallen man, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man (Jesus).

The beautiful thing about the gospel is that this heavenly Man came to conquer the earthy man through a demonstration of divine love and this is exactly the work of God unto sanctification in our lives.

He lovingly and affectionately works out that which Christ has already accomplished on our behalf.

His victory becomes a reality more and more as we follow Him out of darkness into the freedom of His glorious light.

All darkness in us becomes visible the closer we move to God, then when exposed, it is expelled through a demonstration of His conquering love.

His delivering power progressively rescues His children from the grip and the influence of darkness in every area of their lives as they lovingly and willingly submit and yield to the divine influence.
