FIRE BY NIGHT

"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
THE "PROMISED LAND" IS A TYPE AND SYMBOL OF THE KINGDOM
Words of prophecy:
*____"Self-righteousness" [spiritual pride] always "appears" to be [has the appearance before others of] doing or saying [seeking after] the right thing but, in reality, its
underlying motivation is ALWAYS the exaltation of "self" over others - and the furthering [promoting] of its "own" agendas [instead of My Will].
...."For I say
to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven".... Matthew 5:20 NASB
from there, He went into their synagogue. And a man was there whose hand was withered. And they questioned Jesus, asking, 'Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?' - so that they might accuse Him. And He said to them, 'What man is there among you who has a sheep,
and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out? 'How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep!
So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.' Then He said
to the man, 'Stretch out your hand!' He stretched it out, and it was restored to normal, like the other. But the Pharisees went out and conspired against Him, as to how they might destroy Him. But Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him,
and He healed them all".... Matthew 12:9-15 NASB
...."He [Jesus] began saying to His disciples first of all, 'Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is
hypocrisy. But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known'".... Luke 12:1a-2 NASB
...."But woe to you, scribes and
Pharisees, pretenders [hypocrites]! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces; for you neither enter yourselves, nor do you allow those who are about to go in to do so".... Matthew 23:13 The Amplified Translation
...."Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven [will enter.] Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we
not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you [intimately];depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness'".... Matthew 7:21-23 NASB
...."Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts, as [happened] in the rebellion [of Israel] and their provocation and embitterment [of Me] in the day
of testing in the wilderness, Where your fathers tried [My patience] and tested [My forbearance] and found I stood their test, and they saw My works for forty years. And so I was provoked (displeased and sorely grieved) with that generation, and said, They
always err and are led astray in their hearts, and they have not perceived or recognized My ways and become progressively better and more experimentally and intimately acquainted with them.
I swore in My wrath and indignation, They shall not enter into My rest. [Ps. 95:7-11.] [Therefore beware] brethren, take care, lest there be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to cleave to, trust in, and rely on Him], leading you
to turn away and desert or stand aloof from the living God. But instead warn (admonish, urge, and encourage) one another every day, as long as it is called Today, that none of you may be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [by the
fraudulence, the stratagem, the trickery which the delusive glamor of his sin may play on him].
For we have become fellows with Christ (the Messiah) and share in all He has for us, if only we hold our
first newborn confidence and original assured expectation [in virtue of which we are believers] firm and unshaken to the end. Then while it is [still] called Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion
[in the desert, when the people provoked and irritated and embittered God against them]. [Ps. 95:7, 8.] For who were they who heard and yet were rebellious and provoked [Him]? Was it not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? And with whom was He irritated
and provoked and grieved for forty years?
Was it not with those who sinned, whose dismembered bodies were strewn and left in the desert? And to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but
to those who disobeyed [who had not listened to His word and who refused to be compliant or be persuaded]? So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest], because of their unwillingness to adhere to and trust in and rely on God [unbelief had shut
them out]. [Num. 14:1-35.]".... Hebrews 3:7-19 The Amplified Translation
____The "promised land" is a type and symbol of the Kingdom - as evidenced by the people of Israel [in Moses' day]. Whose failure
to enter into the "promised land" was the same as those in this hour who, because of their penchant for the "law" [legalism], love of the world, self-righteousness and unbelief [mistrust], are not able to enter into the Kingdom - and the "fullness" of their
precious inheritance [salvation] that awaits therein [lies within that spiritual positioning].
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You that You have raised us up a Kingdom-people - a people who are found walking in the fullness of our precious inheritance, in Christ. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory.
