FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud
did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
"TIME OF REFRESHING"
Words of prophecy:
*____ Everything in the natural is subject to change [temporal] while My Word [Will] abides [remains] forever.
Therefore, let each and every one of My precious children be found continually "fixing" their eyes on the "revelation" abiding in their heart.
...."let us run
with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus [Who is the Word of God], the author and perfecter of faith".... Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB
we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day. For our light, momentary affliction
(this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent
glory and blessedness never to cease!], Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting"....
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 The Amplified Translation
____ ...."He who has My commandments [gained a revelation of the Father's Will] and keeps [remembers, exalts, honors, magnifies, does] them is the one who
loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him ...."If anyone loves Me, he will keep [remember, exalt, honor, magnify, do] My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make
Our abode [having living communion] with him".... John 14:21, 23 NASB
...."Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son
can do nothing of Himself, unless [it is] something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and [the Father] will
show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel".... John 5:19-20 NASB
Keeping one's eyes "fixed" [perfectly focused] on the Father - and, therefore, His
Word [Jesus] - cannot fail to produce "a time of refreshing" for one in Their Presence.
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You that You have brought us into a time of refreshing in Your Presence. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
