If you knew what true humility looks like then your only boast shall be in the Lord.
When somebody tells you how humble they are, then be sure that such are only declaring the level and deception of their own self-righteous pride.
APART FROM GOD, WE HAVE NO GOOD AND ALL OF OUR
RIGHTEOUSNESS ARE AS FILTHY RAGS.
Be careful that false humility causes you to be proud and boastful of how humble you think you are, when in fact you are steeped in the ugliness of devilish pride.
Stay humble before God by realizing your own poverty of spirit, that within yourself you have no virtue.
Always remember the words of our Lord Jesus in John 15:5
I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing.
GODLY HUMILITY GROWS INTO THE MATURITY OF SPIRITUAL FRUITFULLNESS
AS WE ABIDE IN THE VINE. THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT IS THE LIFE OF CHRIST MANIFESTED.
TRUE HUMILITY NEVER PARADES ITSELF NOR DRAWS ATTENTION TO ITSELF FOR IT IS A DIVINE VIRTUE AND FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT THAT
CAN ONLY BE IMPARTED BY GOD THROUGH THE WORK OF THE CROSS AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT.
THE POWER OF THE CROSS EXPOSES, UPROOTS AND CRUSHES THE PRIDE OF MAN TO BRING FORTH THE BEAUTY AND ESSENCE OF TRUE HUMILITY.
There is no humility or divine virtue within the flesh of man as the Apostle Paul declared in Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing.
1 Corinthians 1:26 For you see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God has chosen the foolish
things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised,
has God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
And of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory
in the Lord.
