FIRE BY NIGHT

"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

THE WALK OF FAITH

Words of Prophecy

*       Faith is the substance of things desired [hoped for]. Fear is the substance of things not desirable. Faith is the beginning of things desired. Fear is the beginning of things not desirable. Faith will give birth to the things desired. Fear will give birth to the things NOT desired.

_____...."For the thing which I greatly fear comes upon me, and that of which I am afraid befalls me".... Job 3:25 The Amplified Translation

_____ ...."Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]".... Hebrews 11:1 The Amplified Translation

Our victory in Jesus over the world is our faith (1 John 5:4 "this is the victory that overcomes the world - our faith"). Abraham is the father of our faith according to Romans 4 and Galatians 3, so that faith in a biblical sense involves hearing what God is saying and continuing to prophetically declare it, believing that we have received it, and acting on it as He directs - "stepping out of the boat" like Peter did in Matthew14:29, so that the Lord can work the miracle He said He would. (Mark 11:22-25).

Greek literally, "Take hold of the faith of [from] God: if anyone says to this mountain [out of the rhema word faith deposit God has spoken and released] . . . and does not doubt in his heart that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. . . believe that you have received it, and it will be yours"; also 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 "We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit"; 2 Corinthians 4:13 "It is written: 'I believed; therefore I have spoken.' With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak").

_____...."let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus [Who is the Word of God], the author and perfecter of faith".... Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB

_____The walk of faith sometimes just calls for each of us to simply concentrate our focus on the Word of God [on a day to day basis] - completely trusting in the Father and His faithfulness for His perfect result. Many times through the years I found myself in a "seeming" wilderness or dry place - having to walk in faith through that season. Looking back, it was in these times that the greatest spiritual growth took place in my life. So, too, in this spiritual season, the Father is sealing all those He plans to use in a very special way - and, in the process, He is requiring the exercising of an absolute faith and trust both in His Character and in EVERY aspect of our Covenant in Christ.

Prayer of Proclamation:

Father, we thank You and praise You that, in this hour, You are raising us up a people who are found walking in EVERY last aspect of our precious Covenant with You, in Christ. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.

...."Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, [bless] His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, [So that] your youth is renewed like the eagle".... Psalms 103:1-5 NASB
