"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
SUFFERING "FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE" MANY TIMES CAN [AND DOES] INCLUDE PHYSICAL ATTACKS FROM THE ENEMY
* The "suffering" [for righteousness' sake] that My children are called to in this earth is to stand continually against
all the things that they have been redeemed from. It is in no way associated with physical sickness or any other manifestation of the law of sin and death [as coming from Me!] but, rather, it is to continually release faith in My Word regardless of the pressure
of the circumstances which surround them. As their minds become transformed and renewed to My Word, "suffering" [for righteousness' sake] shall become the joyful opportunity to further establish My Kingdom in the earth it was intended to be rather than the
sorrowful, painful, concept "religion" has made it to be through unbelief.
...."There is therefore now NO condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not
after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death".... Romans 8:1-2 KJV
...."Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation
of His glory you may rejoice with exultation. If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you".... 1 Peter 4:12-14 NASB
...."Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who
are in the world".... 1 Peter 5:8-9 NASB
____Suffering "for righteousness sake" many times can [and does] include physical attacks from the Enemy - and, of course, our task, then, is to continue to stand
on our Covenant [the Word] in a steadfast faith and trust, with a view to overcoming [rising above] every scheme of the Evil One and his forces against us. In the context of events that were happening when I first received the word of prophecy above [many
years ago now], the Father gave me that definition of "suffering for righteousness' sake" in light of the fact that a number of people were viewing the attacks of the Enemy on their physical health as being sent FROM GOD to "teach them something" - thus, misrepresenting
the true character of our loving Father.
____It is certain that the Enemy will do whatever he can to prevent any of us from entering into the place of "abiding" in a revelation of the "fullness" of our
precious inheritance in Christ - and, in fact, he is always attempting to attack us in our weakest spot. The good news is, however, that as we stand on our Covenant each time one of these weak spots is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit we are THEN able to
enter into the place of revelation, defeat the Enemy - and then, from that point on, walk in a place of power and victory where once before there was an ongoing struggle and defeat.
____To sum up: all
of the experiences in our lives have been but an opportunity for the Father to forge a steadfast faith and trust in our hearts in perfect preparation for the glorious days that are, even now, beginning to overtake all those who are truly seeking to enter into
the fullness of their true Kingdom-position and destiny, in Christ. Truly, what the Enemy has meant for his greatest harm in our lives will now turn to God's greatest good [highest purposes] in our lives - both individually and corporately - right through
to the end of the age.
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You that You have raised
us up a people who continually resist the Enemy on ALL fronts. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
____...."Submit therefore to God [in trust
and obedience]. Resist the devil [from the position of faith in a revelation of the Father's Word/Will] and he will flee from you".... James 4:7 NASB
