The True Heart Of Forgiveness
By Kathy Mote
The true heart of forgiveness isn't accepting someone else's poor behavior. It's being free of it as you accept your fate from the Lord. No one else's behavior defines your life. Only your own as you obey the Lord.
Ever Pick Up A Brand New Baby
By Kathy Mote
Ever pick up a brand new baby, look into that precious face and be overwhelmed with love that flows from a pure place in your heart?
That baby didn't do anything to put that love in your heart. That love was your response to someone who was adorable and loveable who had done you no wrong.
We hold no man
accountable for our life as we stand before the Lord. We owe everything in our life to Him because He is Lord of us. His love is what He fills our heart with, for that is His response to our open heart. We owe it to Him to walk in it. We owe no man more than
All Of The Good Stuff
By Kathy Mote
All of the good stuff comes from God and is shared.
By Kathy Mote
"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you
will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure that is pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”
When the Lord said, Give, and it will be given to you...He wasn't talking about money, but how we treat each other. He was saying to love one another. He
was saying how the 'law of love' works is to give. For one who gives is full, and she is full because she gives.
This is more than forgiveness among men, it is walking in
the freedom of a ransomed heart that belongs to Him. This is who we are. It is time to rise, for it is time to soar.
When Jesus Said
By Kathy Mote
When Jesus said, I go before you to make a way for you, He meant that He has a plan all worked out for our life. All that we go through
as we live our life, He has worked every detail of it out for us.
He has made a way for us means our life is going according to His plan. These are the ordered steps He desired for us to take and He never
takes His eyes from us as we walk through them.
This is the way He made for us, that His will would be accomplished in our heart. We miss none of His plan in our life because He went before us and authored
our steps. He has made a way for us to come and He brings us to Him on time. He went before us and thought it out so every step we take brings about the desire of His heart.
I Used To Call Myself A Late Bloomer
By Kathy Mote
I used to call myself a late
bloomer, but that was my excuse for all of the endless unfinished business I seemed to have trying to understand my life. Today as I sat playing solitaire, the Lord reminded me of these things again.
He brought to my mind
all the decades that I struggled to make sense of not being loved as I lived under a mountain of injustice every minute of my life. He reminded me of the times I seemed to float in a stream of rejection no matter how much I gave, something that continually
had me confused.
Since the people in my life were not something I could control, I tried to be good enough for them, but their response had me in tears all the time. The Lord would comfort my heart. He
would sing to me, saying, after all that we've been through, I will make it up to you. I promise to.
After bringing these memories up to me again, He showed me that my 'endless wallowing' was not my unfinished
business, it was His. I was not just ceaselessly suffering, I was being prepared to know and to be who I was called to be. This was His explanation for the tidal wave my life had been.
When He told me
that my life was as it was to accomplish His will, He said, If you're going to tell the story of your life, tell it right. I did this, all of it. It was Me, and I'm not done.
This has given me closure,
brought complete healing to my heart and clarity to my thoughts. But there is something else that this has given me. There is nothing that can harm me or tempt my heart away from Him. The Lord lives in, owns and protects every part of my heart. His thumbprint
is stamped on every desire my heart can hold. But most of all, I know I am His, the sum product of the work of His hands alone.
He said something to me that had me drenched in tears. He said, Welcome home.
I'm glad you are with Me where I am.
I Would Like To Share
I would like to share what the Lord showed me regarding the new territory I am now standing in. I will use myself as to illustrate, since this is difficult to
explain without sharing how I came to know this.
He showed me that since my birth it was His presence calling me to Him that caused my family to reject and abuse me with extreme prejudice. They were vindictive,
violent, hateful and mean, and this changed the shape of my heart, humbling me so deeply that it changed who I thought I was.
Hatred was always their reaction to me and He showed me that because of His
presence, it was really their response to Him. He said there are many in this generation who share this same phenomenon in their life, and as He raises them, they will surrender their heart to Him and He will be seen in them.
Knowing that it was His presence that called me to Him and that He raised me Himself made me see my entire life in an entirely different way. I found myself being called out from among them to face Him instead, and I am no longer hurt or angry,
I am emotionally free of the ties that bound me to them.
I realize He created me to be His family and I am called to be with HIM. I no longer hold anyone else accountable for what He has done to raise
me to Him, I relate to belonging to Him. This knowledge of who I am to Him is my healing, and the new ground I stand on is in His presence with nothing in my heart keeping me from Him.
Today He showed
me that is what He meant when He said He would give us the land that the enemy tried to take away. He promised to give us back the land, and as He brings us into our rightful place in Him, He returns to us seven fold the woe we have suffered even as we were
being delivered unto Him.
The seven fold is His presence that we now stand in, knowing we belong to Him. Our heart being free of its Earthly bond, we are no longer held down or limited to knowing only
an earthly life. Now we see our place in Him as we see Him. So the enemy we are being delivered from is not the devil, or those who are unloving, unjust or unkind, it is the torment of trying to navigate this life without Him. The enemy is spiritual death,
which is not knowing Him and not being in your place in His presence.
