FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your
great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
KEEP YOUR EYES "FOCUSED" ON WHERE YOU
ARE GOING NOT WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN
Words of prophecy:
* In these days, I am "wresting" the last vestiges of "self" control [fear and pride] from the lives of all those who are truly seeking first My Kingdom. Truly I say to you, these are the days of "final preparation"
- a final preparation that will see many enter [without "spot or wrinkle"] into the "fullness" of their true Kingdom position and destiny, in Christ.
"Wrest" - to twist or turn; pull, jerk, or force by
a violent twist; to take away by force [in this case, the "forces" of the Kingdom: Love, Wisdom, Righteousness etc.];
...."Then those who feared the LORD spoke
to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard [it,] and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name. "They will be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "on the day that I prepare [My] own possession, and
I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him." So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him".... Malachi 3:16-18 NASB
...."'For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will
leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall. You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the
soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,' says the LORD of hosts".... Malachi 4:1-3 NASB
...."When the LORD brought back the captive ones of Zion,
we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them.' The LORD has done great things for us; We are glad...... Those who sow in
tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying [his] bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves [with him.]".... Psalms 126:1-6 NASB
...."THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and
entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first
incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection].
He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring
the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [Ps. 110:1.] Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that
you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds".... Hebrews 12:1-3 The Amplified Translation
...."For our light, momentary
affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and
transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless
and everlasting".... 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 The Amplified Translation
Keep your eyes "focused" on where you are going NOT where you have been. For where you have been
has been but a perfect preparation for where the Father is taking you "now" - a positioning [both spiritually and physically] that will serve you well right to the end of the age.
Prayer of Proclamation:
Father, we thank You and praise You for this most Glorious hour - an hour wherein we will see Your Glory poured out through a holy Church. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing
basis], in the Name of Jesus - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
