Even When You Are Exasperated
If you feel like you are being held up, The LORD wants to lift you up!
You may feel like you are surrounded
by walls of doubt, but God is about to show you what to do to break out.
There are things that seem important to you that seem to be hidden from you. But The LORD Who Sees and The God Who Knows, has been
working on your perspective about what is really important.
In the Gospel of John 21, Jesus had instructed the disciples to cast their nets on the right side.
They were not able to draw in the nets because of the large amount of fish they caught (153 fish) (John 21:11).
Simon Peter realized that it was The LORD, so he swam to the shore. This was the
third time Jesus showed Himself to the disciples after He was raised from the dead.
He said to Simon Peter: “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?”
He said “Lord, you know I love you.”
Jesus said “Feed My lambs.”
Jesus asked him three times if Simon Peter loved
This really grieved Peter, saying, “LORD, You know I love you!”
“Feed My sheep;” Jesus said.
After Jesus showed him by what death that Peter was going to glorify God,
Jesus then said to Peter, “Follow Me….”
are much greater things that The LORD has in store for you than just the things you think are holding you up.
You may have been wondering about things that seem to be hidden, even being exasperated about
having no answers concerning the doubts you have.
He is still saying you today “Follow Me…. For I know the thoughts I have towards you; thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future
“Call upon Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3.
who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I shall say of The LORD; “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, on Him will I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2.
in His Presence, stay the course, don’t give up, don’t quit!.
“For without faith it is impossible to please Him. For He who comes to God must believe that He is God, and that He is the
REWARDER of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6.
