I Have Come To An Important
By Kathy Mote
I have come to an important decision regarding what people think my portion should be from them. I have suffered
hurt and insult like a slap in the face each and every time I expected love in this life. I'm not talking about insinuating myself into someone else's life, I'm talking about people who chose me, expressing a desire to be a part of my life.
All around me are memories of my portion being insult after insult to my heart. Like a fiancé who goes on vacation, doesn't take you, and brings you back a rubber grippy for your ink pen, or a parent who doesn't show up when you graduate
high school or get married, and who doesn't take any pictures of you as a child. Like the best friend who regifts at Christmas at the last minute. Ok, maybe that's allowed. But how about the husband who doesn't drive you to the hospital when you are having
a miscarriage. Wow. What do you say to that.
I have learned not to fight against these memories when the Lord brings them to my mind and I don't cast them down anymore. I believe He brings them up to me
as I am being held in His arms so I can see HIS opinion of them. As I give Him my heart as my past is brought up, He heals how I see myself and those memories never hurt my heart again.
What He showed
me today is that as I was dealing with people who hated Him, I learned to survive every moment by not fighting for my rights in the moment. As you fight to be treated well, you gain nothing. You give up your dignity by responding in hurt, which is really just
In all those years, He taught me to be humble, but from now on, if hurt and insult is what someone considers my portion to be, I won't show up to receive it from them. My heart belongs
to the Lord and I receive my portion from Him. He will direct my steps, and I will humbly trust in Him.
Having Eternal Life
By Kathy Mote
Having Eternal Life is more than going to be
with the Lord when you leave this world behind. It's being with Him now, hearing Him now, living with Him now.
It's living the Life He shows you as He fills your heart with what's in His. It's walking with Him the way He wants while
you are still here in this world. It's following Him with your whole heart as He shows you how to Live.
It's trusting Him with your life as He shows you what Life in Him is. It's His heart being given
to you so you can be as He is. It is giving Him your heart and finding deep peace as He proves He is Lord of it. While we are here, we are only taking baby steps as we learn what eternal Life is.
know that He is eternal. He is Spirit. He is Life. He is love and He is Light and He is all there is. That is what He will teach you as His heart is revealed.

The Things of
Our Carnal Nature
By Kathy Mote
The things of our carnal nature that take us away from Him are being surrendered to Him in this life.
There Is A Depth To
Our Father’s Love
By Kathy Mote
There is a depth to our Father's Love for us that we simply do not understand. We cannot fathom
His love for us, we can only compare it to what we feel in our own heart as we look at our own child.
What we are able to feel is a fraction of what He feels for us. Our Father showed me what He feels
for His children. We are literally the work of His own hands and He is not done!
He is pouring into us what is in His heart, every desire He wants to see in us. Every beautiful thing He has conceived in
His desire to create us, He is preparing us to be, and walk in.
When He looks at us He sees who He is pouring His heart into. He is confident of who we will become. The deeper He delves into our heart
to make Himself known to us, the more devoted our heart is to Him in response.
This is a beautiful relationship for us, but for Him, this is the delight of His heart being gathered to Him. As He teaches
our heart to love Him back, we are the reflection of His love for us. That's what all our surrender is about as we learn to trust in Him.
The Lord Said
The Lord said that as in the days of Noah so shall it be in the end days. Something I have noticed about the days of Noah was that what Noah said God would do
seemed highly unlikely to those who heard. What Noah said seemed impossible to them. Unthinkable. Way outside the human experience of anything anyone had ever seen or could imagine.
So, as in the days
of Noah, everyone is going about their business, convinced of what they know, confident in what they think of God. As in the days of Noah, people are oblivious to what God has purposed in His heart. One notable difference between what God did then and what
God will do now is then He destroyed and now He will pour His glory into us.
Who Know What His Promise Is
By Kathy Mote
Those who know what His promise is know He has not finished fulfilling His promise to all
of His creation yet. We know this because the scriptures aren't all there is to Him, the Holy Spirit is a promise of things to come, there is more to what He promised us than what He has done in us so far, and we are still stuck here in our flesh, learning
to trust Him with the littlest things. There is more to come.
Some say His promise is complete in us when we die and stand before Him. But those who have walked this Earth before us still wait for Him
to bring all of creation to Him. He said the last generation to walk this Earth will be filled with all the fullness of Him and the first generation will be raised with us into Him. We are living in the days just before His return.
Knowing what His promise is should take all the religion out of how you see your walk with Him. In fact, Him revealing His heart to your heart is the only way to know Him and walk with Him. That is enough to keep you until His return. At least,
that is what Enoch, Isaiah, David, John and a multitude of others have said as they waited for His return.
