"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

        ...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

Words of Prophecy:

*       It is a fine line between presumption and passivity. The "fine line" is the narrow path of perfect obedience.

"perfect obedience" - receiving a revelation of the Father's Will, and then carrying out that Will in the timing [unction] and power of the Holy Spirit - alone [through the continual exercising of an absolute faith working through a perfect love];

       ...."A highway will be there, a roadway, and it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, but it will be for him who walks that way, and fools will not wander on it. No lion will be there, nor will any vicious beast go up on it; These will not be found there. But the redeemed will walk there, and the ransomed of the LORD will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away".... Isaiah 35:8-10 NASB

____The "essence" of what the Father was saying here is simply that perfect obedience places one on the "narrow path" [the highway of holiness] and that, ultimately, one will either be found abiding [dwelling] there OR [through their own choice] falling to one side of the path or the other. One side is "passivity", which is simply the "maintaining" of some aspect of fear in one's life which, in turn, causes one to not participate readily or actively - as far as carrying out the Will of God for their life. Presumption, on the other hand, is rooted and grounded in pride [and, oftimes, rebellion] and compels one to carry out the "Will of God" [in reality, their actions are geared to fulfilling self-agenda] in their "own" strength, understanding and intellect [usually in a "spirit of self-righteousness"].

____...."He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.... If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him".... John 14:21,23 NASB

Prayer of Proclamation:

        Father, we thank You and praise You that You have prepared a "Highway of Holiness" for us to travel on [day in and day out] - a "narrow path" on which we have NO fear because Your holy Presence abides [dwells] there with us. We set ourselves to joyful praise in the knowledge that in this holy place both You and Jesus continually reveal Yourselves to a continually greater degree each day - and we declare all of these things DONE, in Jesus Name. Amen.

        ...."Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it. [Deut. 30:19; Jer. 21:8]".... Matthew 7:13-14 The Amplified Translation
