Christ’s Work

By Kathy Mote

Christ's work on the cross may be finished, but His work in us is by no means finished. As He hung on the cross and took our place outside the Father's presence, He fulfilled our Father's heart for us, experiencing death, rejection and judgment in our place.

When He said, It is finished, He meant His obedience to the Father's will. He had obeyed, and it tore His heart out. Now as He continues to obey our Father's will to fill us and heal us and bring us to Him made whole, it is a delight to His heart to embrace us.

When He said our salvation is complete, He meant there is nothing lacking in it. We are saved from judgment, and from coming up short, not belonging in His presence. We are saved from being wayward and ignorant of Him and His heart for us. His heart is in us, and we are no longer far from Him.

We are no longer foreign to His heart because He fills us with it. We are in our Father's presence by Christ's presence in us. To present us to our Father, made whole and filled with His heart is Christ's work in us. He will complete it until He is finished.

This is our Father's will for us and that is why He called Christ His Word for us. Word means will, decision and decree, and by Him all things are created, including us.

There is nothing lacking in the work He is doing in us by His presence. We are being transformed as He heals us. This is not automatic, it is interactive. The Life He gives us is in Him and we are giving our heart to Him to live it.

This is a most intimate relationship where our heart and His are made the same by having the same desire. It is a mutual giving of self. That is what love is. He is filling us with Life and we are living in Him. This is the love of God, and this is how He saves us.

When The Lord

When the Lord doesn't answer your question, you're not ready to hear His response.

I’m Not Here For This Life

By Kathy Mote

I'm not here for this life, I've been emptied of it. This thinking upsets some people. But maybe they don't see past today. They wonder if I enjoy my surrendered life. What I enjoy is the Lord's presence in it.

I think this is good thinking for someone my age. It's good to finally know why I'm here, and what He's doing in me. I feel prepared to leave this place and that gives me deep peace. I feel no fear no matter what I face. As He holds me, I feel His embrace. This is just my perspective, but the Lord told me to share.

There Are Two Parts

By Kathy Mote

There are two parts to surrender. Giving Him what's in your heart, and accepting what is in His.

Trusting The Lord

Trusting the Lord for peace of mind is a matter of deep surrender.

Either You Come To Him

Either you come to Him humbly, or you don't come to Him at all.

In Your Life

By Kathy Mote

In your life you are entering His relationship with you. It isn't something you read about, declare, claim, practice or do. He is creating His heart in you by His presence in you. The influence His presence has on you becomes a part of your heart as you accept His love for you. That is the difference between you and the angels. You were created to enter His heart as His Beloved. That is why He gave you choice. You are precious to Him. That is why He is giving you His heart.

The Only Way

By Kathy Mote

The only way to know who you are to Him is to open your heart to Him as deeply as He reveals His heart to you. How deeply you surrender your heart to Him is how deeply He has entered you. That is who you are to Him. You are in Him as He is in you. That is how He keeps you with Him as He raises you.

We Have Been Taught

By Kathy Mote

We have been taught by man to be ministry oriented in our heart but in that teaching, something vital to Life in Him has been entirely overlooked. This teaching has rendered us all but powerless. Our first calling is to be in Him. To be in Him is the point of being called to Him. To gather us into His heart is His point.

We have missed our higher calling not humbling our heart. We have been playing swords instead of being pierced in our own heart. We have nothing to offer someone else if we do not dwell in His presence ourself. Unless we have given Him our life, we have not heard Him and we have nothing to give someone else. Unless we are being raised by Him, we just get in His way not being in our place in Him.

Seeing ministry to others as the point of being filled is missing the point of being filled. In the Lord's presence is where we are each called to be. HE is the one Who gives Life, not us. We answer His call to live our life in His presence. That is relationship, and in our relationship with Him He is calling His body to rise.

The Lord is aligning our hearts with the Truth of why we are called to Him and given gifts. He is lifting our heart, focusing our eyes and raising the bar as He reveals the Truth of what He is doing in us and that is how we will Live.

To be His body in the Earth, we have to be in Him. As He reveals His heart to us, He is revealing His heart in us and that is how we are being healed. That is when our heart's response to Him is all about honoring Him. He said, If I be lifted up, I will draw all men to Me. That is what He meant. As He creates His image in us, He is in us as we are in Him.

He is calling each one of us as a member of His body to hear His voice and be transformed by His presence in our heart. That is how we will know His heart. By His presence is the only way His will works in us, and He is powerful to bring change as our hearts are aligned with His.
