Sometimes

By Kathy Mote

Sometimes I am shown things that rock me to my core years before it is time to say them. In one of those moments when I wanted badly to reveal what He showed me, He said, You are not a reporter for the New York Times. Let me tell you how this works.

He said, I reveal what I will do in the hearts of my Beloved just before I achieve it. That is what you say as I release you to reveal it. To them, it will be a confirmation and explanation of my presence in them. I reveal my heart in them as I heal them. This is not a buffet to honor my guests and it is not self serve! That is not how to receive me. To bring my heart into them is the point of what I do and they must open their heart in response to receive me.

I know this to be true in my own heart. I desire to please Him more than anything else. That is my heart's response to being in His presence. My life is lived in response to Him. Him filling my heart is how I obey Him. It's all Him. So I stopped rushing forward to release His Word before His time and timing to honor Him.

We don't minister to each other, He does as we obey Him, and as we obey Him it honors Him as Lord of all He does in us.

As I Wondered

By Kathy Mote

As I wondered about how to say what He was showing me this morning, the Lord said, Quit worrying about what you are going to say to someone else. Your journey and what you say is between you and Me and no one else and so is your obedience.

He showed me something as He said this to my own heart, and that is how He explained it. He is creating us. It is His will that we be as He is, so Him filling us causes our obedience. His presence in us creates His image in us.

In my thinking, which is limited, I would say He is with us, but He is Spirit, and He is IN us, which is how we are in HIM and THAT is our obedience. It was His original design for us that we be made whole by Him being the Life in us. Him being in us is how He will gather us.

The Reason

By Kathy Mote

The reason we are often confused and conflicted about God's will is we don't see past this life, our circumstance and how we feel. We stand in His presence to know what He is doing in us. We surrender our heart to see Him accomplish His will in us.

Surrender is how we will have the courage to accept and walk in His will, because where we surrender is in His arms, accepting what He says.

Here’s Something

By Kathy Mote

Here's something to contemplate. Without Him in us, we won't last past our expiration date...

You Were Created

By Kathy Mote

You were created to be with Him. If the point of your existence is to be gathered to Him, you need to realize that to be in Him, He must be in you. Opening your heart to receive Him is how you are saved. Being in His presence IS being saved. The point is He is who gives you Life as He enters your heart.

As He lives in you, learning His ways is how you live your life. You don't do that by judging what He says to your heart by what you know of your own thoughts. What possible good can come from that? As the point is to be in His presence, it is unwise to deny His voice. What will you say to Him when you are face to face? Will you tell Him what you thought the Bible meant?

It Will Ease Your Mind

By Kathy Mote

It will ease your mind right down to your soul to understand, He is still creating you. You will see everything differently once you realize this, and stop struggling to understand as you rest in Him. Trust will come easier. So will comfort and peace. Abiding in Him will come naturally because it will be your response to His presence.

It is not your responsibility to be something for Him, it is His work in you to make you as He is. It satisfies His love for you to do this. He is working in your heart to create you in His image.

I’d Like To Share

By Kathy Mote

I'd like to share what the Lord taught me about the intent to hear. It is different than the desire to hear, or should I say listen to Him. The intent to hear and listen to what He says has already decided to obey, and will not argue with Him. It doesn't tell Him what His will is. That is accepting Him as LORD of your heart in your heart with all your heart. It is how you remain in His presence without conflict of any kind. Now in your heart is like it is in Heaven as you stand before Him.

Guarding your heart is not accepting what you hear Him say, and it is one reason people don't, cant or won't hear Him. Listening with the intent to accept what He says is the same heart posture as hugging Him back and it is a joy to live this way. It is the deepest expression of complete reliance and trust...and it is our response to His presence as Lord in us.

This Is What The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

This is what the Lord said. You have been listening to me with the intent to obey. I will teach you to listen to me with the intent to abide.

This is the highest communion of the heart, the deepest fellowship possible to one who is still confined to life on the Earth.

I tell you, I speak with you all the time. Now I will teach you to listen all the time. That is how you must abide.

The Lord Is Teaching

By Kathy Mote

The Lord is teaching our hearts to love His voice. What He is doing in the world is not what He is doing in our heart, and we don't look at the world to know what He is doing in our heart, we look at Him.

We live by what He is doing in our heart. We Live by His presence in our heart. As He is in our heart, His presence in our heart is where we are drawn to fellowship with Him.

Lately I have been deeply grieved by what I am hearing in the world. Even as I was tempted to rally to what I was hearing from conservative news as they take a stand for the truth, I was taken away from what peace and strength, what joy of fellowship He was offering me by His presence in my own heart. In that brief moment, He taught my heart to stay 'home' with Him.

Pointing to what He was doing in the world, He said, That is not what I am doing in your heart. That is not your portion. Don't get caught up in it. What we hear from others is their perspective of what He is doing in the Earth. Would it surprise you to know, He is actually drawing them to Him, refining every heart?

As I turned my heart to enter His embrace, I realized I truly don't need to monitor the pulse of the world to know what He is doing in it. I need to know my place in His heart to know His thoughts. He reveals what He is doing in the world from HIS perspective as I am in His arms. Hearing His thoughts and knowing His perspective is how I navigate this storm. I have no peace being out of His presence to hear the thoughts of the people who are caught out in the storm.
