FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave
them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
THE FORCE OF UNBELIEF
IS A COUNTERFEIT FORCE TO THE FORCE OF FAITH
Words of Prophecy:
*____Pride [fear] opens the door to a "spirit of unbelief" [mistrust].
*____"Faith" without corresponding words and actions [words and actions that correspond with a revelation of My Will/Word] is "unbelief" [mistrust of Me].
...."Faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)".... James 2:17 The Amplified Translation
...."Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths".... Proverbs
3:5-6 The Amplified Translation
...."The intellectually arrogant seek for wisdom but they never seem to discover what they claim they are looking for. For revelation
knowledge flows to the one who hungers for understanding".... Proverbs 14:6 The Passion Translation
...."So we see that they were not able to enter [into His
rest], because of their unwillingness to adhere to and trust in and rely on God [unbelief had shut them out]".... [Num. 14:1-35]".... Hebrews 3:19 The Amplified Translation
____The "force of unbelief"
is a counterfeit force to the "force of faith". The continual exercising of faith [trust in the Father and His Word] leads one into the Promised Land [the fullness of their precious inheritance in Christ - and the true Kingdom-living that is its spontaneous
fruit] while the continual exercising of unbelief [in any of its forms: pride, fear, self-righteousness etc.] keeps one in the "wilderness" [darkness].
____...."But seek [aim at and strive after] first
of all His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right]".... Matthew 6:33 The Amplified Translation
...."Who is the man who fears the LORD?
He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will abide in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. The secret of the LORD is for those who fear [reverence] Him, and He will make them know His covenant".... Psalms 25:12-14 NASB
Prayer of Proclamation:
____Father, we thank You and praise You that You have translated us into the Kingdom of Your Dear Son
by Your great and awesome Power. We declare ourselves Your true sons and daughters - joint-heirs with the Lord Jesus Christ. We set ourselves to carry out the precious Kingdom-tasks you called us to, and prepared for us, from before the foundations of the
earth [day in and day out] - to Your greatest Glory - and we proclaim them DONE [perfectly - and on a continual basis] in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
____...."For we are God's [own] handiwork [His workmanship],
recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined [planned beforehand] for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for
us to live]".... Ephesians 2:10 The Amplified Translation
