If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

Without the Trials . . .

Without The Trials

By Kathy Mote

Without the trials we face in this life, we wouldn't become who we are.

We Are Not Meant

By Kathy Mote

We are not meant to walk by the understanding of our flesh, we were meant to be transformed by Him.

Only Those Whose Hearts He Has Humbled

By Kathy Mote

Only those whose hearts He has humbled are prepared to see their Creator. When He opens your eyes to Him, you see He is absolute, and you humble your heart and accept Him to abide in His presence. Your only other option is to rebel against Him.

It isn't God's arrogance that causes this demand for respect, it is His love and His gentle, and tender care of you. He does this to protect you from rejecting Him and ejecting yourself out of His presence. Just look at Lucifer, the most beautiful among the angels.

He was cast out of God's presence for thinking more highly of himself than he thought of his Maker. He did not accept God's authority to decide his purpose. His pride was his flaw and it caused his uprising and rebellion.

Seeing your Creator face to face requires your response to Him, and He will prepare your heart before every revelation of Him. You are the work of His hands, and He carefully nurtures your heart to prepare you to know Him. He is always quick to comfort you, because He knows how painful it is.

We Have Always Been Bound

By Kathy Mote

We have always been bound by what we thought was our responsibility to behave as Christ would whenever we were being hurt or mistreated. We have been taken advantage of as a result of this thinking, for what we do in our flesh is not His presence in us. What the Lord had in mind for us is far different than what we imagined. It is far more powerful, and He is bringing us into it.

What we are becoming is the result of His presence in us. In His presence, we do not acknowledge, take to heart or respond to the deeds and remarks of those who dwell in darkness, for as we are in Him, we do not walk with them.

In His presence, our response is to Him. As Lord of us, He is LORD of all that concerns us and that includes all that goes on around us. As He is the powerful Light in us, He will be the powerful Light amid those who walk in darkness and this has a dramatic effect on them. His presence in us repels the darkness in them as we stand before Him. In a word, HE has now dealt with them.

This has already been happening to some degree, and we will see more and more of this the deeper we learn to surrender our heart to Him to respond only to Him. His presence will stir up an unprecedented response in the lives of those who don't or won't humble their heart before Him.

He reveals God's heart for us as He dwells in us and He pierces our heart with the knowledge of Him. We will no longer be bound by our ignorance of Him as we walk hand in hand with Him, and darkness will no longer have the upper hand over us as we are in His presence.

I said this as delicately as I know how, but put bluntly, Satan will no longer take advantage of our ignorance as we try to accomplish in our flesh what only Christ can do in us by His presence as we abide in Him.

In Order To Flow With Him

By Kathy Mote

In order to flow with Him into the deeper things of His heart, we have to lose the notion that everything is up to us. We've been laboring under the assumption and thinking that what we receive is up to us, but that binds us completely to the ability of our own thinking, like we are in charge of His work in us. That's not how it works as He is Lord of us.

Who we receive is HIM. He is God's Word poured out for us, and we receive Him to receive God's presence in us. That is His will for us. He reveals what is in God's heart as we receive Him, and He will complete God's desire in us by being in us.

All The Lord Intends For You

By Kathy Mote

All the Lord intends for you is in Him, and humbly is how you receive Him. This is what He defined as being humble. It means to see Him instead of self. It means to follow after Him instead of self.

It means to be aware of Him enough to not be concerned with expressing your self. Humility is to accept Him and to trust Him above all else.

This comes by way of Him revealing His heart and His presence to you.

Humbly is how you receive Him, and you give Him place in your heart as His love for you consumes you.

Humility is another way of saying you totally accept Him and that is the same thing love says.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
