Double Portion Prophets
By Deborah Waldron Fry
heard, “Run out of your grave clothes, My Bride. Instead of your shame you have received a Double Portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance.
You are My ‘Double Portion
Prophets’, the Heirs of Salvation, the Bride of Christ doubly anointed for such a time as this.”
And I saw Jesus handing the Bride of Christ a Glorious Mantle. It was “folded over”
It was the FULLNESS of God, His Grace upon Grace. It was the Mantle of Double Blessing, the Manifold Blessing of God and His Anointing that breaks every yoke.
And the sons and daughters shall walk in the Double Portion of God and they shall bless others with the Blessing they have received.
“Beloved. Run out of those grave clothes, My Bride
and run to your Savior! The devil cannot curse what I have blessed.
I have clothed you in My Garments of Salvation and the Robe of My Righteousness. Instead of your shame you have received a Double Portion,
and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance.
You are a Joint Heir with Christ in the Kingdom of your Father. You are My Double Portion generation, My Prophets, to you it has been given
to walk in My Blessing of Grace upon Grace.
You have not received the spirit of the world but you have received the Spirit of God. The One who blesses dwells in you! This anointing DESTROYS every yoke.
The Manifold Blessing is yours, Dear One. There is no one that has left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the Kingdom of God’s sake, who shall not receive MANIFOLD MORE in this present
I have clothed you with My Glory and Grace. And you will be called priests of The LORD; you will be named ministers of your God.
For I, The
LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In My faithfulness I will reward you, My Child.
Announce to My Bride that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received from
The LORD’s Hand DOUBLE for all her sins.
You wear My Mantle of Fullness, the Anointing of Grace upon Grace. As I AM so are you in this world, Dear One.
The Manifold Wisdom of God is in you and the Double Anointing Mantle shall be seen upon you by all the evil rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.
And it shall come to pass in this day,
that his burden shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the Anointing!
Hear Me calling your name, Beloved. I have called
you out of the darkness of the grave into My Marvelous Light. I have appointed you and anointed you.
Now you are the Bride of Christ who has received the Double Blessing. My Manifold Grace and Glory is
your Covering forever and ever and the evil ones shall bow down at the Presence of the Majesty in You.”
DOUBLE : The King James Version translates it simply “double,” but the Revised
Version gives it its expanded and derived meaning, “manifold in understanding,” meaning multiplied at different levels, folded over, layer upon layer, a great amount. (Bible Study Tools)
: Strong’s Greek 4179: Many times more, manifold. From polus and pleko; meaning manifold, i.e. VERY MUCH MORE.
Near the end of Elijah’s time on earth, he offered his assistant Elisha a gift:
“What can I do for you before I am taken from you?” Elisha answered, “Please let there be a DOUBLE PORTION of your spirit on me” (2 Kings 2:9). Elisha’s request was to be considered the successor of Elijah and to be “doubly
blessed” with power in the prophetic office. Throughout 2 Kings, the many miracles Elisha performed confirm that he had indeed been granted a double portion.
Since the Mosaic Law stipulated a DOUBLE
PORTION for firstborn sons, the concept has been used throughout history to refer to God’s ABUNDANT BLESSING. Jesus Christ is called the “firstborn over all creation” (Colossians 1:15), a title that indicates His position as the Blessed One
and rightful Heir of all things.
“And you will be called priests of The LORD, you will be named ministers of our God. You will
feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. Instead of your shame you will receive a DOUBLE PORTION, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting
joy will be yours. “For I, The LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.” Isaiah 61:6-8.
