Something The Lord Has Taught Me

By Kathy Mote

Something the Lord has taught me that brought more comfort to me than I can share is knowing that I am what He is making me, and that is what I will be. I don't have to struggle to become what He wants me to be. Only He can bring this about. I don't have to worry that I am failing. I am the work of His hands, and He does not fail!

But let me also share how He taught me to 'be' as He taught me this. For my part, it took a lot of surrender, sight unseen, to give every desire in my heart to Him and trust Him with it. Deeper and deeper into my heart He went, and my surrender turned to trust. Trust turned into confidence, and confidence into rest.

So in every word He speaks to me, my heart is healed of all but Him. My only desire is Him. To surrender is to want nothing but Him. His strength in me is to have nothing over Him. My heart continually cries out for Him. There is a deep yearning in me to 'be' in His presence, which is to obey with a willing heart. What He breathes into me is my next breath of Life. I need Him more than life itself.

We think of Jesus the person. But He is raised from the dead. He is Jesus, He is God and He is Spirit. He was with God from the beginning and is God's will for us. He is and He is to come. By Him all things were created, and all things were created for Him. I am among His creation, and He isn't finished creating me yet.

He communes with me to bring my heart to Him. He brings His will into me by His presence in my heart, and I receive Him without argument. His presence I do not second guess. He brings me great comfort, more than I can say, for as I rest in His hands, I rest in His presence, confident in Him, beautiful Him.

The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said, “Carnal means Without Me.”

The Lord said, “To those from whom I have taken everything, I have given a special strength.”

Bride describes our heart posture, and it expresses complete trust.

The Day You Realize

By Kathy Mote

The day you realize your friend doesn't really like you is the day you realize God has filled you with His presence to call you to Him. This is the day you give your friend's place in your heart to Him and that is how you walk with Him.

To One Who Is Thinking

By Kathy Mote

To one who is thinking, I am tired. Tired of other people and their rebellious responses. As you turn your heart to the Lord, obeying Him will be your focus. He will deal with their rebellion. At this point in time, it stems from their ignorance of Him. You who are sent, on the other hand, are like a javelin thrown by His own hand, and you are piercing the darkness they stand in.

The Orphan’s Heart

By Kathy Mote

The orphan's heart beats in one who doesn't know the love of the Father for her. She walks alone in this world. In all things, she is deeply humbled. Truly, it is He who humbles her. He does this to prepare her. For one to know a love so deep, one must first be humbled or it would spoil her. For one to have a heart able to receive a love so great, one must first be emptied.

So this is for all those who are deeply loved who are being emptied, tried and humbled. To Him, you are precious. It is with the greatest of care He will gather you, and in His arms, your heart will be mended. It is only then you will give Him a heart that He Himself has opened. An orphan you will no longer be, for in His arms, your humble heart will belong to Him.

The Truth

By Kathy Mote

The Truth has been hidden in plain sight for millennium. People have interpreted what they think God meant by what He said before He fulfills it. What He will do and His point in doing it is something that is hidden in Him. He said so. For instance, did you know He is still creating us? We only see and understand what is revealed to our heart by Him, and clearly, all has not been revealed yet. He isn't finished. All will be revealed as He fulfills it in us. That is the point of it.

So as each of us stand before Him, our heart wholly given to Him, let us remember not to argue with one who He sent to reveal His heart. If that's not what you can hear, and truly you should be standing in His presence, waiting on and listening to HIM, then go read something else. But don't argue. Give Him your heart and He will confirm His presence in you. With Him you will not argue.

You can go to any moment in history, and see they didn't know what we know today. Eve didn't know about Jesus going to the cross. He hadn't come yet. John the Baptist didn't know about speaking in tongues because the Holy Spirit hadn't been poured out yet. As His return grows near, His heart and His intentions are being revealed and as a result, being ignorant of Him is taking a back seat.

So when someone responds to what the Lord revealed to His prophets saying it doesn't line up with their own knowledge of scripture, what they are actually saying is, "I didn't hear His voice." Be advised, arguing that you know better is not how to hear Him. Those He sent today won't argue with you about it as they obey Him.

You Don’t Want To Hear This

By Kathy Mote

You don't want to hear this, and I don't want to say it, but the time of great suffering in the world is at hand.

This is why the Lord has taught us such deep trust as we abide in Him. His glory is at hand in us. That is His manifest presence in us proving He is God, and in Him we must stand.

I know this will all come to a head and then there will be seven years of unprecedented world peace. I look for that day, but this is the day I am in.

My faith is not in man and neither is my hope or trust. I trust in the Lord that He will bring His will to pass, (and He will protect His Beloved as He does), that all of His creation would glorify Him. It is His return that I look for. He told me to share.

There Is A Storm Coming

By Kathy Mote

There is a storm coming. One that I cannot see. As the Lord just taught me to trust Him beyond what I can see, He said, That is how I will provide for you, My sweet.

Ordinarily, I would not share this. This is not a prophetic word for all to see. It is personal to me. As I thought this, He said, Oh, but it is. As I establish My Word in My Beloved's hearts, all they will see is Me. That is how they will trust Me, and I will provide for them the same way.
