If You Are Waiting To Hear God

By Kathy Mote

If you are waiting to hear God say the same thing to you that He said to someone else thousands of years ago, you have not obeyed His first word for you. If you take to heart the written Word of God, then you will accept Christ as God's Word for you, and hear Him. Open your heart to Him. He will fill you and speak to you. This is God's will for you. He will not say to you what He said to someone else thousands of years ago. What He is doing in you is what He is doing to fulfill His Word now.

He will accomplish His will in you. That's what He is doing now. To receive what He promised, you need Him in you, and opening your heart to Him is personal. As He speaks to your heart, He will speak about what He is doing to fulfill your Father's will in you. So many expect Him to reenact what He did in someone else's life thousands of years ago, but this is not thousands of years ago. This is your life here and now.

To fulfill your Father's promise in your heart and life, He will enter your heart and speak to you about your life. This is Him bring present in it and that's how you will follow Him. He will reveal His thoughts to your heart to show you where your heart is and that's what He's doing in it. He will center your heart and your life by being present in you. This is how He brings deep peace to your heart. He will heal you by being in His place right there inside you.

There are things that were promised, and recorded in the Bible that God has not yet fulfilled, but He will fulfill them in each of us by entering our heart to awaken us to His presence. This is how He raises us to fill us so completely that we are consumed by His love for us. Him in us and us living in Him in close communion is what He is doing in our time. That is His original promise, the one that all of creation waits for, and in our time He is moving quickly to fulfill it.

The Lord

The Lord is raising the meek. They will be His standard in the Earth.

What We Know

By Kathy Mote

What we know of God isn't what we learn about Him, it is what we become by His presence in us.

Do Not Be Afraid

By Kathy Mote

"Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.

For your Maker is your husband-- the LORD Almighty is his name-- the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.

The LORD will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit-- a wife who married young, only to be rejected," says your God.

"For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back.

In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you," says the LORD your Redeemer.

"To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.

Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

For A Brief, Brief Moment

By Kathy Mote

“For a brief, brief moment did I turn away from you, but with deep, loving kindness I will come and gather you.”

Isaiah 54:7

We have always read this as God speaking to His people Israel, but did you know that God is also referring to the brief time that is spent in our flesh? This is the promise He made to gather us to Him after our time on this Earth is done. This life is the time we learn to come to Him and willingly give our heart to Him. In this life, He is teaching us of Him.

This is there we 'grow legs and walk' to Him, learning to lean on Him as He walks with us. This is where, after knowing what it is to be without Him, we lose all desire to even try to be away from Him.

Nestled within this scripture is a view of the purpose of this life, and as He enters our heart, we are given a view of His desire to give us Life.

What we have surrendered to come to Him will not be our portion now that we are in His arms, hearing His voice filling us with the desire to know and be close to His heart. What He speaks to our heart is about His heart in us. That is where and how we live, and having known of the darkness without Him, we are filled with joy in His arms.
