If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

I'm going to say something . . .

I’m Going To Say Something

By Kathy Mote

I'm going to say something very few will understand or even want to hear. It's not a popular subject to speak about humility being a gift. But it is.

The Lord said, When you are humbled, do not look at the tool. Look at the hand that wields it. Remember, humility means to see the Lord.

Being humbled by people is heartbreaking, embarrassing and a disappointing let down, for the Lord rarely uses a stranger to carve this gift into our heart. He will use people we expect the exact opposite from. He will use loved ones, family, and people who matter to us. They are a tool in His hand and He is giving your heart a great gift. He will use their weakness to give you strength.

This is the part you won't understand unless you are looking at Him and not the tool that He wields. He is not treating you like a princess, He is making you His Bride. He is also presenting you with your covenant of the heart with Him, for in it is the care and provision you will need.

The Lord has been telling me that in every step we take, we are entering into covenant with Him. He is establishing a covenant with us for the future provision He will give. Humility and trust as you look to Him is now how you are walking with Him. This is how you receive from Him.

But the carnal mind doesn't know what to think of all this and neither does the broken heart that is looking at itself. You are being given the beauty of trusting Him, knowing He is your portion and looking only to Him. He will shape your heart and raise you to Him. He will give back all that He took as He protects and provides like no one else can. He will set you on high, but you will only have eyes for Him. The humble are beautiful, for they belong to Him. They are the work of His hands.

As I Began To Weep

By Kathy Mote

As I began to weep over the time we are living in, the Lord said, You know nothing of the time you are in. I will do a marvelous thing. Something that has never been.

To Be Free Of Something

By Kathy Mote

To be free of something is to not give it any place in your heart.

Recently

By Kathy Mote

Recently I had to face the hurt of being hated by someone that should have been family to me. They have been an enemy instead.

Expressing an intent to harm, there is no love for me in them and we have no relationship. Until recently I have survived with the hope that I would someday be restored.

But the Lord said something to me that changed my thinking. After healing my heart on many levels, and after telling me this was their response to Him and His presence and purpose in my life, He said, You do not know them. Do not look for them.

I thought about what He said for days and days. To explain what He meant to me, He told me what it means to 'know' someone. It means to be intimately acquainted with them, and to know them heart to heart. This is not what you have with someone who hates. It doesn't matter if they started out as family or not. There is no communion of the heart with someone who hates, there is only struggling to get along.

This takes healing of the heart to a whole new level for me. Belonging with Him, we are not of this Earth and neither are our relationships. Our relationships are of Him. Being of His heart, our relationships are of the heart, and He is Lord of them.

We do not 'know' someone, nor are we intimately joined in our heart to someone who hates us. A broken relationship is no relationship, it is a punishment. We are separated from them by the hatred in their heart and free from any tie that would bind our heart. That darkness and hate is what we rise above and there is nothing to forgive. They are simply not where we belong.

We All Enter Marriage

By Kathy Mote

We all enter marriage with high expectations of being loved. But anyone who has a successful marriage will tell you that's not how it works. To love, not expect to be loved, is the secret to a successful marriage.

Both giving all to become one is actually what that means.

I keep seeing Jesus, seated at the center of the table at the wedding feast. This is a celebration of His union with us. This is a celebration of His Life given to us, but it is also a celebration of our life given back to Him. His love makes us of the same heart as Him.

So to love is to give your heart and your life to one you love, for to love is not to take, but to give. Love, for it to be love, is always giving.

He said we go from death to Life to enter His Kingdom. So this is God's heart in us, that we give our life to Him just as He gave His life for us. We give our heart to Him as we are embraced in the love He gave for us.

Let This Mind Be In You

By Kathy Mote

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus who gave up His life to please the will of the Father. We give our life to Him who gave His Life to make a way for us.

The Lord showed me something about the living stones in His garden. They were all deeply beautiful, and they all had something in common. His Life was the only life in them. They lived for nothing else but Him and there was nothing but His Life in them.

The Lord Said Something To Me

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said something to me that I am to share. He said, Do not anticipate My will for your life with dread in your heart any longer.

After being so emptied, some of us have the tendency to do that. He said not to. He said we will never fear anything again.

You Cannot Walk

By Kathy Mote

You cannot walk in the glory of God without honoring His heart. This is to lay down your care of what it costs you or makes you look like to others as He brings about His will. To honor Him in this manner is the death of your pride and pride of life. To honor Him is to walk in His heart and see His will done.

Our Father Said

By Kathy Mote

Our Father said, Now we come to the bedrock of the foundation of My thoughts for you. The foundation of My desire for you is the Cornerstone. *Those who practice the scriptures instead of living by Christ will not fully understand this.

He showed me the place He is building for Himself. It is made of large, beautiful, living stones. The stones were what He called His garden, and He carefully tends each one all the time. He said His garden is the place where He lives. They shine with His Light from their deepest heart, having given all to Him to be filled. Having nothing in them to darken their reflection of Him, the living ones are beautiful and made brilliant as He comes near.

He looks forward to His garden with great joy in His heart. When He is finished, all of creation will be a joy to His heart. The foundation stone, the only stone fully set in place was the deepest garnet I have ever seen. This stone was the foundation. It had been there since the beginning, and those who come to the Father come by Him.

His living garden will be His delight. He said He will surround Himself with beauty and delight when all is made as He is, and that is what He is filling you with as you give your heart to Him. When He is finished, all of creation will reflect His heart, being filled with the Glory and Light of Him.
