He Is Creating Us By His Love

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said He is creating us by His love. As His love is revealed to us, we come to know who we are. As He draws us into His arms, we come to know His heart, and as we learn who He is to us, we never want to be apart from Him.

I Have Gone From Being Nothing

By Kathy Mote

I have gone from being nothing to being nothing without Him to being nothing He doesn't make me. I believe that is progress. The only reason I am sharing is He asked me to, because this perspective of what He is doing in us will encourage someone who is right now being emptied.

Being emptied of your human pride prepares you to be filled with His presence and His Life. He can't just walk up to someone whose heart is untried. To make a long story short, your pride is what takes you right back out of His presence every time you aren't prepared to carry what is revealed.

So this is what I would say to all who are enduring being humbled right now. You are being prepared. You are learning just how big and powerful He is. His will is not meant to be contested in your heart. It is His provision, protection and love.

He is creating His image in you, even as you are emptied, as painful as that is. That is a vitally important part of the process, and He isn't finished. For you to learn how big and heavy His hand is and how you are to respond in it, you also have to bear the weight of it.

That is not what man's religion and man's thought teaches us. But then, God isn't where man learned their 'spoil me, please me, I decide, I declare, I name it and claim it' mentality and teaching. Their thoughts are not His thoughts and they don't come from His heart, they are of this Earth and express a love of self, just like their perspective.

If you are being emptied and brought to Him humbled beyond words, know you are in His mighty hands and you will be filled so that you will remain with Him. You will know His heart in yours. In your heart will be heard the same resonant sound that is heard in all of Heaven. That is His desire in you, for in you is where God's heart is.

Something Happened

By Kathy Mote

Something happened that should not have been a big deal but ended up being a very big deal.

My daughter's ex-in-laws came through town, and they made a date to have dinner with her. I was not invited and when I offered to cook them a meal and have them as guests in our home, my daughter declined.

In that moment, I thought nothing of it. But as the day for their date grew near, I realized, I am not considered as family to them, not presented to them with pride, not counted as one of them to be included in a family meal.

This is not the first time I have faced such a situation as this. Being set apart is no new thing to me. In the moment I realized my position, I had a choice to make. To receive this with a trusting heart from my Daddy, or resent it without understanding and be hurt and confused. I turned to Him.

He said something to me as I did. He said, I did not set you apart to save them from you. I set you apart to save you from them. They are far more about themselves than you can imagine. My presence in you would incite them to frenzy and they would attack you.

That is not My will for you, this is My will for you. At this point He pulled out a chair for me to sit at table with Him. But I didn't know how to take my seat. I plopped down not knowing how deeply I am welcome with Him, and He corrected my heart. Then I slid into my seat sideways, hoping not to be noticed by anyone and again He said, Don't sit with Me like that. Take your place.

I wanted so badly to be with Him, in full heart embrace of His love and His will for me. I didn't care about being seated at table with Him, I cared about HIM and wanted HIM. My heart opened and flew toward Him. I saw my heart going into His. He smiled, and said, Welcome home, Kid.

All Of His Creation Is Ugly

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said all of His creation is ugly because He is not finished with it. He said for the most part, people are filled with hate and self and steeped in their own thinking which takes them away from Him. The absence of Him in their heart makes a great darkness in the land.

Then I saw one who had a heart that was warm and glowing and open to Him. In that heart He was welcome, and He came and made a home in them. As they honored (reverenced) Him, He honored (lavished His heart upon) them. In this, He gave great dignity to them.

This was a Light that all of Heaven could see, and the angels watched it filled with great joy, for it was God's heart being given to man.

In the midst of great darkness, God is revealing His heart to His children who are called to Him. They are filled with His presence as they honor Him. Being filled with His heart is His gift to them.

You May Have Noticed What A Mess The World Is

By Kathy Mote

You may have noticed what a mess the world is. No one understands what the Lord is doing in all of His creation. No one sees the work of His hands from His perspective but Him and nothing will be perfect until He is finished.

So in the meantime, if we want to be less imperfect, we can respect that He is at work in all of His creation, and whether we understand what He is doing in all of His creation or not, we should not take up the nasty, disrespectful habit of accusing Him.

What we don't realize as we speak out against all that is false is we have taken it upon ourself to accuse and that is also false. This is something we are expressly told not to do.

It's the devil's mandate and purpose to disrespect God, and as we speak out against God's creation (which He is not done with yet) we speak out against Him, making ourself His judge.

I'm going to say something many will find hard to hear. Nothing happens in this Earth that doesn't go through God. We find this so hard to bear because how God brings about His perfect will won't fit in our heart and we just don't understand. We use our own heart to measure all that He does, so we just can't seem to reconcile the good with the bad.

I'm going to use one example to show what I mean. Judas Iscariot was part of God's plan. Without him, God's will would not have come to pass. What we need to see in order to be smart enough not to judge is what God is getting at, what His final objective is. His plan is to bring His children to Him, filled with His heart.

So, since we aren't able to see what He does not reveal to our heart, we can be wise enough to respect Him, and not judge the work of His hands. This will make us like a dove, filled with peace and harm-less to everyone else.

Would it help to know that the devil is a necessary tool. His actions and attitude expose what rises against God. That is what God is removing from us, for every thing that rises against Him is cast out of His presence.
