If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

This morning . . .

This Morning The Lord Spoke To Me

By Kathy Mote

This morning the Lord spoke to me about the many who are hardening their hearts to Him in order to please man. They do this as they are feeling pressured by man's opinions and expectations, but they don't realize they are being coerced, corralled, bound, and taken away from Him.

To follow God's voice is the greatest wisdom man can have. It takes a willing heart to hear His voice as He speaks to your heart, and it takes courage to obey, regardless of what anyone else says. Every choice you make expresses your devotion to Him as you come to Him, but you cannot follow Him and desire to please man.

People would have you agreeing with them to validate their thoughts and opinions of Him, but this is not the Lord revealing His heart as He calls you to come away with Him. He will speak to your heart to give you Life in His presence, something man cannot even begin to teach or give.

Many years ago, I was involved in a very powerful ministry. The Lord called me out from among them and I obeyed. In all this time I have never walked alone. He walked with me, and I walked with Him. He reminded me of this and I looked them up. What I saw saddened my heart. They know nothing of the God I know.

I am remembering when God called Abraham. He heard God's voice leading him away from everything he had ever known. By obeying God, he took his place in God's heart and God's will. That is our reward also, and in His presence, there is no cost at all.

If you are hearing Him say, Come away with Me, My Darling, you belong in His arms and He is saying so. Heed the call. Not in man's presence, but in God's. The Lord doesn't promise to give you every desire you ever had in your heart, He promises to become the desire of your heart. That is how you come to Him, and that is how you remain in His arms.

Those Who Stand In The Lord’s Presence

By Kathy Mote

Those who stand in the Lord's presence aren't responding to their environment, they are responding to Him. They are always responding to Him.

God’s Kingdom In You

By Kathy Mote

God's Kingdom in you is a matter of you surrendering your heart. The secret to understanding how He rules is to know everything is His.

Everything is for Him and everything is by Him, starting with your own heart.

People who want to move in power are always missing this. They read and practice scripture, thinking this is how they will bring change to the world, but that is not how His Kingdom works. His Kingdom is His presence in us, and He is changing us. Only those in His presence can even begin to know this.

The Lord Showed Me Something

By Kathy Mote

The Lord showed me something that I would like to share. This is about our inability to get His message across in any power to bring change and the frustration we have been feeling about it.

We are wanting the Lord to show up in power to change things, when obviously, He hasn't done that yet. What He seems to be doing is removing from us our desire to be proven right in the things we speak.

We live in His presence, that much we are sure of because He continually humbles our heart. It's as though there's a dimmer switch on us, and it is turned on low. We are done struggling. There's no peace in it. We surrender how effective, clear, and sharp we are, and that is most humbling of all.

The Lord has corrected something that was hidden deep in our heart. We have surrendered who we are in this world. That is His most recent work in us. Our concern is not about how people might respond, it's not about our credibility or being proven right and it sure isn't about saving others. It's about remaining in His presence as He removes every struggle from our hearts.

He has been going deep to purify what flows from our heart and to change the direction that we flow. Our heart will flow back to Him. In the center core of every created being is the desire to 'be' and to rise as who we are. Well, there it is again. Pride. He is dismantling our pride, and what we have just surrendered to Him to stay in His presence, He will fill with the glory of God.
