"I Saw These Three Spirits Over America"
Recently, as I was thinking
about everything that's been going on in our nation, I inquired of the Lord: "Why the severe turmoil?”
(The Lord answers our questions in many ways. He speaks to us personally; He speaks to us through His Word; He speaks
to us through signs, wonders and miracles, and He speaks to us through the knowledge that we already have!)
He responded to me through what already I understood (based off of the knowledge He's given me). He brought to my
mind that we are in a place in time where we need God to give us the directions for pulling down strongholds that are over our nation; strongholds that are trying to destroy the very foundation upon which we live and have built upon.
Are You Praying with Opinion or Purpose?
In prayer, our cry is constantly: "God, help! God, help! God, help! God, help!" All of this is done in prayer. All of this is done in communication to one another and to God.
We beg God for answers. We beg God to help. We've even gotten to the point where we say, "God, do this," "Do that to someone," "Just do it.”
But the truth, my friend, is this: Many of us have been praying the wrong way.
We play a part in this. We must be strategic. We must be honest with ourselves and with God. Upon coming to this revelation, personally, I repented before the Lord. I told Him how sorry I was for judging and probably using the wrong prayer language—praying
with opinion, not purpose.
I realized that I needed to be silent before Him in order to get strategies to pray.
Three Spirits Over the United States & Three Strategies for Taking Them
Today, I am going to share with you the strategies that God has given me. If any of these strategies touch your soul, I pray that you would join me and come into agreement with them.
Lord showed me three spirits over the United States – three spirits that are trying to destroy our nation. He showed me that in unity, we can destroy them.
1. The Spirit of Leviathan
of Leviathan (see Job chapter 41) cannot be removed by anyone but God, for we know it is the king of all pride.
God's Word tells us that pride goes before the fall (Proverbs 16:18). Oftentimes when we look at the word "pride"
in Scripture, we forget that at the root of every fall in disgrace is pride. We are all guilty of pride.
Our Strategy: We must repent of pride.
2. The Spirit of the Philistine (Goliath)
This second spirit is also very powerful, because the first spirit created the second—the spirit of the Philistine. Oh yes, my friend, the Philistine (Goliath) is standing on the top of the hill. He is dressed in armor and has
a massive army around him. He is massive and intimidating.
His army picks up its weapons and shakes them at the army of Saul. They are loyal to Goliath because they have seen his strategy win before. They are not afraid, for
they THINK they have the 'weapon of all weapons'—Goliath. Hence, their victims are Saul's army.
'Saul's army' are those who have forgotten that they are the army of the Lord.
the army of Saul was facing off with the Philistines and Goliath, a young man named David entered the story. David loved the Lord and He obeyed his Father. He shook up the army of Saul by saying: "...'For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should
defy the armies of the living God?'" (1 Samuel 17:26, NKJV).
"Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, 'What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who
is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?' And the people answered him in this manner, saying, 'So shall it be done for the man who kills him.'" (1 Samuel 17:26-27, NKJV)
said to Saul, 'Let no man’s heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.'" (1 Samuel 17:32, NKJV)
The army of Saul began to awaken. They were no longer the army of Saul. They now remembered
that they were the army of the Lord!
In the end, the Philistine was pulled down from the top of the hill and his head was cut off. The army of Saul transformed into the army of the Lord and they plundered the armies of Goliath.
Our Strategy: Just like David did, with the army of Saul, we must allow the Spirit to shake us up to remember that we are the army of the Lord! We also must be bold like David and face this spirit of fear and intimidation.
This is how we defeat the spirit of the Philistine.
3. The Spirit of Delilah
Now I want to tell you about the third spirit, Delilah. This is a spirit we don't hear much about because we usually
don't talk about it. We talk about Samson and his weakness instead of Delilah and her cunningness to bring forth that weakness.
We must get to a place where we are able to recognize this spirit of Delilah and her purpose—to
destroy the anointing that is in the Church.
The Bible tells us that we have the power to pull down strongholds and wickedness in high places:
"For though we walk in the
flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into
captivity to the obedience of Christ..." (2 Corinthians 10:3-6, NKJV)
Our Strategy: We must protect the fresh anointing from the spirit of Delilah, because it will take the anointing to awaken us, removing the army of Saul.
This anointing is the anointing of kingship (like David, who was anointed by Samuel as king before he fought Goliath). It will also give us tools to restore the army of the Lord.
must repent in order to bring forth the anointing which enables us to destroy STRONGHOLDS. We must restore the army of the Lord and strike down the Philistines—the army of Goliath. Then, the proud voice of arrogance and antichrist will be destroyed by
The pattern is simple. These are the three spirits and what they operate in:
• The spirit of Leviathan (PRIDE)
• The spirit of the Philistine (full of pride,
bullish and fear-mongering)
. the spirit of Delilah (which has captivated the flesh and lulled the Church to sleep with comfort, keeping us from the anointing)
Gathering the Army
While I was in the spirit, I heard the Lord say: "Gather the army.”
I replied: "I'm not the voice to gather the army.”
The Lord responded: "Be a voice; for I will bring
forth many voices that will sound very similar. I must awaken this country from one end to the other; from the north, the south, the east and the west. I tell you now: the Word is in your mouth. Tell them, remind them: they are the army of the Lord. And I
will give them the tools to destroy the army of the Philistine. I will overturn these three spirits," says the Lord.
"I am asking My Church to unite and be a voice; to overturn the spirit of pride, the spirit of fear, and
the spirit of Delilah (fleshly comforts/spiritual sleepiness). Go now into your secret place and I will commune with you there. And I will give each person the strength to be a voice. I will do this," says the Lord.
Dear Jesus, in Your powerful name, I pray that You would speak to the Church. Show us these three spirits and help us to overturn them in our nation and to in the world. Lord Jesus, America must be saved by Your mighty, outstretched
hand. Touch us now. Speak to us. Anoint us. For we are no longer going to be the army of the spirit of Saul. We won't cower in fear. WE WILL ARISE! We will return to become the army of the Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
