What I Have Been Calling His Presence in Us

By Kathy Mote

What I have been calling His presence in us is a living, breathing, warmly glowing part of His heart beating in us. That is the Light and the Life of Him in us. It is that part of His heart that resides in us, connecting our hearts to His, allowing us to hear His heartbeat and stay close.

God’s Intense Love For You

By Kathy Mote

God's intense love for you is what compelled Him to express that love to create you.

For Centuries

By Kathy Mote

For centuries, man sacrificed animals as they waited for the Lamb of God to come. They did this to remember God's promise of being cleansed and brought into His presence. Animal sacrifice is ritualistic, brutal and barbaric. Yet, that is what they did as they waited for Him.

When Christ Jesus came, He gave up His life, going to the cross to die in one of the most brutal and barbaric ways possible. The agony of being nailed to and hung on a tree that was cut from its roots is symbolic of giving up your rightful place in the Earth and in the Father's presence.

What He did was never meant to be the subject of further religious practice and thinking, lest we miss being embraced and brought into the Father's presence, which is the point of why He did it.

When Jesus came, He relieved us of the need for all of the religious thinking and practices that are far from Him and do not know Him. Those are things that people did to remember God's promise as they waited for Him. But He IS God's promise.

To know Him in your heart is a far different view of Him than religious thinking, which never saved anyone. As He fills us and brings us into our Fathers presence, He is fulfilling God's promise to embrace us.

To sing about the blood, plead the blood or invoke the blood as a hedge of protection is a religious practice that is far from honoring the love He expressed as He willingly stood in your place and gave it. Embracing Him with an open heart would be a more appropriate response to Him.

Who You Are To Him

By Kathy Mote

Who you are to Him is irrelevant to the rest of the world, and it is irrelevant to your heart who knows it. Who you are to Him is only made known to you in His presence. You are in this world, not of it.

You will consider the opinion and thinking of man less and less, for it is of no importance in His presence.

You will find less and less tolerance for ignorance in your heart as you desire Him, for your heart will know nothing but Him in His presence.
