If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

Do not grow weary . . .

Do not grow weary in waiting. He is finishing what He started long ago.

Our Father

By Kathy Mote

Our Father is deepening our awareness of Him as He reveals His heart. He is enabling us to relate to Him in all things, knowing all things are relevant to Him. By His presence, by His Spirit, He is bringing all of creation to what He intended it to be, and we will see His perfect design made perfect as He fills all things.

He said, You are always in My presence, but that is not the same as Me being in yours. I am always perfectly aware of you even though you are not aware of Me. But I will gather you to My heart to perfectly fill your heart. You will be perfectly aware of Me, for you and I will be one.

The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said not to rely on our understanding because that is not how we receive Him. I used to think He meant our understanding of the scriptures, but He meant our self confidence. He told us not to trust in ourselves. That is not how we hear Him, respond to Him or walk with Him.

It's in our heart that we hear Him and respond to Him. Shall we call our heart our Spirit? That is the part of us that receives Him, carries a part of Him, hears His voice and communes with Him. That is how we walk with Him.

It is not our flesh that yearns for Him and it isn't the way of our flesh to receive Him. We surrender our heart to do that, and He fills us. He is Spirit and He is teaching us His ways. He is drawing us to Him by His love for us and it is in our heart that we rely on Him.

I Cannot Imagine

By Kathy Mote

I cannot imagine a more foolish endeavor than arguing with the devil over what God's will is. The devil doesn't care that he is in rebellion, and when we argue with him, we are not obeying God either.

To obey God is to be filled, to be as He is, to be gathered to Him and remain in His presence. Since we are in fellowship with God's heart and not in rebellion, let us walk in the Light of the Lord's presence.

Walking in the Light is how to 'cast out' darkness.

Can You Imagine

By Kathy Mote

Can you imagine how foolish it looks to God when we try to walk in His presence by quoting the Bible? Can you imagine what God thinks when we try to limit Him to what we understand of the scriptures? How is it that we can read about Him and not desire to hear His voice, be embraced by Him and know Him? The people we read about heard Him.

We KNOW that Jesus was raised from the dead, that He desires to enter our heart and speak to us, yet we limit Him to what we read in the Bible. As we do this, do we really desire Him? The only thing that keeps us from dying in such foolishness is that God knows He has to press our heart for us to open and receive Him! Let me tell you, that is the point of all He has done. Can you imagine?

It Is Man’s Natural Thinking

By Kathy Mote

It is man's natural thinking to focus on themselves until they hear God's voice and respond to Him. Knowing what the scripture says is not knowing Him in your heart. Hearing Him is personal, and so is your response to Him. When you open your heart, your focus is on Him and all that He says to you.

That is your relationship with Him.

So when someone comes along and quotes a scripture that says you are the head and not the tail, and seated in Heavenly places, that is not what you cling to or know first hand. You live in your intimate relationship with Him, for knowing Him is actually how to receive 'what is written'.

He came to bring us to Him, and to fill us with Life. That Life is His presence, and being in us is how He fulfills that promise. This is His communion with us, and we listen. When someone quotes scripture to define their walk with Him, they quote the promise of His Life they have not received yet.

Man's natural inclination may be to rely on their understanding of what is written, but that is not receiving Him or His presence. His presence in us is evidence of Him fulfilling His promise to give us Life, but words cannot describe what He promised.

We Have The Thinking And Perspective Of Life

By Kathy Mote

We have the thinking and perspective of life on this Earth, but God is going to change all that. He is going to do something so profound, it will change the course of all life on Earth. He will be so visible, He will bring all men to Him. They will no longer see life on this Earth as they have, they will see Him.

The Lord Took Me For A Walk

By Kathy Mote

The Lord took me for a walk down a road that paralleled a long fence. Inside the fence was a junkyard and in the back forty sat a mean, ugly dog. The dog raised his head to watch me walk by. The Lord said, Don't go in there, he's mean. You have no business being in there with him. You are not to go where he is.

I knew what the Lord was showing me, that I belong with Him, and all the grief and sorrow and trouble in the world is not what I am to wallow in. I didn't always know this. I was born in that junkyard, so to speak, and all my days without knowing the Lord showed me my need of Him.

But He spoke to me of those days, saying He always knew me, even then. I just didn't know Him. On the day I gave my heart to Him, He came and got me and brought me to Him. Since then, I walk in His presence, never to enter that junkyard again, and in all my days spent in the Lord's arms, that dog who is the devil doesn't come around me.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
