If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

So . . .

So. I have a cracked tooth, but it rarely bothers me. When I went to the Lord about it filled with dread at the thought of a trip to the dentist, He said, You're alright. So I am. But the Lord gives me something else with every bite of food I take. I eat in His presence, grateful to Him that I am ok.

His response to my trust is to take care of me. Yesterday, I dreaded eating what was in the crockpot for dinner that night. It was delicious deer meat stew and it smelled heavenly, but it was far too tough for me to chew. I went grocery shopping, all the while dreading dinnertime. As I passed the aisle with the breads and rolls, the Lord said, Get King's Hawaiian rolls, Hon. So I did.

I have never eaten those, so it surprised me to hear Him say that. When I picked them up to put them in my cart, He said, Get some Black Forest Ham, as well. It was in that moment I saw it, my dinner by God's design, a lovely glazed sweet roll sandwich with ham and melted provolone cheese.

Well, it was so delicious, I giggled through the entire meal. As I was waking up this morning, the Lord told me to have that same meal today. He also showed me a grilled King's Hawaiian sweet roll with a breakfast sausage patty inside. I have never enjoyed a meal this much. What I am so grateful for is that every delicious, soft bite was His sweet and thoughtful gift.

It Wasn’t God’s Will For Adam To Rescue Eve

By Kathy Mote

It wasn't God's will for Adam to rescue Eve from falling away from walking in God's presence. That is why he didn't. All things are coming together according to God's will, even in your own life, right this very moment. God's intention to bring you into the intimate knowledge of Him is happening by Him revealing that He is in you.

He is that close to you. He is closer to you than the mist your breath leaves on your lip as you inhale and exhale. You have always been in His presence, and now He will make you aware of Him.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
