To Worship

By Kathy Mote

To worship is to live your life before the Lord. This is a heart posture, not just spoken words. It is desiring Him with all your heart and waiting before Him to know and embrace the desire of His heart.

This Is What I Hear The Lord Say

By Kathy Mote

This is what I hear the Lord say. What kind of Father would He be if He let you rise up in your own strength. And how could He say He loved you if He let you be all you can be without Him. It may be you are facing the last trial you can stand, but as you realize you need Him, thank Him for revealing this.

He didn't create you to be who you are without Him, He created you to be filled with Him. He is Truth and He is Life. There is no Truth or Life but Him. He would not have loved you if He let you believe anything but Him. And how will He gather you except you be filled by Him.

The Lord Said

By Kathy Mote

The Lord said all of humanity recoils when they don't like what they hear. They automatically consider something bad if it makes them uncomfortable, and good if it suits where their heart is. They are a god unto themselves. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh.

But it is an act of one who is fallen to decide what God would reveal. We have been worshipping our own desires, using our own thoughts to define Him. How could that possibly be Him? That is not giving Him our heart to know Him, it is taking our heart away from Him. That is why we don't know Him, and not knowing Him, we do not hear.

It is not an oversimplification to say that our fate boils down to this. Calling Him Lord means giving Him our heart and trusting Him with our will.

If You Knew The Lord’s Will

By Kathy Mote

If you knew the Lord's will, if you could see His hand, if you knew how powerful He is and that everything flows back to Him, you would stop fighting what you don't understand.

You would stop struggling against what you see along the way, and in a heart fully trusting in Him, you would surrender your life into His hands.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
