FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire
by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
THE
IMPORTANCE OF A STEADFAST PROCLAMATION
Words of Prophecy:
* One
"steadfastly proclaiming" [and acting upon - as led by My Spirit] a revelation of My Will [regardless of present circumstances - or how they feel] is where the "victory" [the place of overcoming] is both initiated and completed.
"steadfastly" - fixed in direction; steadily directed; firm in purpose, faith etc.; unwavering;
"proclaim" - to announce or declare;
Latin:"proclamare"- to shout aloud [in this case, the Word {Will} of God];
"victory"- a success or triumph over an enemy in battle or war; the ultimate and decisive superiority in any battle or contest;
____...."As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the
nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed. [Gen. 17:5.] [For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall
your descendants be. [Gen. 15:5.] He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah's [deadened] womb. [Gen.
17:17; 18:11.] No unbelief or distrust made him waver [doubtingly question] concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His
word and to do what He had promised".... Romans 4:17-21 The Amplified Translation
____In this most critical and glorious hour the Father is leading each
of His precious children into the place of an abiding and absolute faith and trust in Him and, at the same time, the Enemy and his forces are attempting to create disorder in our lives - and hinder us at every turn. It is in these tumultuous times and circumstances,
when the Enemy comes against us, that we have the perfect opportunity to trust the Father and His Word from the place of abiding [dwelling]in Him - a holy place that is FAR above any present turmoil
we may be experiencing.
____...."And He [the Father] raised us up together with Him and
made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus [the Messiah, the Anointed One]".... Ephesians 2:6 The Amplified Translation
"tumultuous" - raising a great clatter and commotion; disorderly or noisy; highly agitated, as the mind or emotions; distraught; turbulent;
____ In light of all these things, we must set ourselves to rejoice in the faithfulness of our God - and, in offering the "sacrifice of praise" [through our faithful resistance of the Enemy],express a true and perfect Love for the One that paid such a great price that we might walk [stride boldly in righteousness] both through and above ALL of the adversity that we are facing [and will face] this side of Heaven.
____...."Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you,
which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation. If you are
reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you".... 1 Peter 4:12-14 NASB
...."But
thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough
in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]".... 1 Corinthians 15:57-58 The Amplified Translation
____...."In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death [no death or darkness can remain standing]".... Proverbs 12:28
NASB
Prayer of Proclamation:
____Father, we thank You and praise
You that we are MORE than conquerors IN Christ and we rejoice in the spiritual reality that You are EVER with us - both now and forever more! And we declare ALL of these things DONE [on an ongoing basis],
in Jesus' Name. Amen.
