If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

"Don't Be Moved By What You See! Keep Your Eyes on Him"

By Cindy McGill

God is shifting and shaking things. Not only is the Church being shaken, but the world is shaking. Exposure, reaping, repentance, defiance, softening and hardening of hearts will be evident. There are a few things we can be sure of to keep us in the flow in this refining time we're living in.

Keep Your Eyes on Him

Don't be moved by what you see. Things can look one way, but God is at work behind the scenes to accomplish His purposes. Psalm 125:1 tells us, "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved..." When our trust is solely on Him, we become flexible, moldable, and able to move forward free from anxiety and fear. God is at work on our behalf. Psalm 91:7: "Though a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, no harm will come near you." God has got our backs.

Make Sure Everyone Is on the Same Page

In football, ALL of the team members who are playing KNOW the strategies and structure of the play. NOBODY is left out of the team meeting and huddle.

As leaders, it is ABSOLUTELY essential to make sure that those who are flying with us in this shifting time know our flight pattern. It's most important to keep in close contact with your tribe in communication and direction. God will give the blueprint, but those who have been appointed to build with you will have certain parts to contribute. Every joint supplies.

There will be no "lone rangers" in this movement. Everything moving forward will be formed as a unified army who looks out for each other. False accusations will come, and clear, honest and frequent communication with those God has joined together will be absolutely essential, so that there is no room for division or deception.

Unity is a weapon, and there is no victory that can be won without it. The enemy loves to bring division and strives to turn us against each other. We have a common enemy but it's not each other.

Take the Risk

During times of shift and change, everyone is looking to find the new pathway that God is revealing. We know that change often means leaving old things behind and embracing new adventures and challenges. Without taking a risk, NOTHING will happen. Just because things are new and haven't been done before does NOT make it wrong. It's just NEW, and new things can often make us feel insecure or uncertain; but when God is doing a new thing, He knows EXACTLY how things will turn out. We are safe in following His direction and strengthening our faith. We are developing new levels of trust and a fortified commitment to this army God has placed us in for this new era.

Stay Focused on Jesus and Prepare for Victory!

Stay focused on the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus (Hebrews 12:2). Develop a resolve within your heart to be anxious for NOTHING and embrace PEACE as your weapon of warfare against all of the devil's nonsense, lies and attempts to destroy God's people and God's plan. PREPARE FOR VICTORY. God ALWAYS gives to us the victory (2 Corinthians 2:14).

Philippians 4:6-7: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
