An Unveiling of God’s Nature

By Pieter Kirstein

Malachi 3:17  "And they shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "in the day that I will make up My own special jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”

18  Then you shall return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves God, and the one who does not serve Him.

The flesh is a disgusting thing, displaying the nature of Satan, which is SELF-CENTERED SELF EXALTATION, PRIDE, SELF WORSHIP, SELF PROMOTION and every abominable thing.

An unveiling of God's nature, power, holiness and glory is taking place in the secret place within the lives of those who have been hidden by the Father, within those who allowed themselves to be stripped and recreated by the God of wonders.

He shall make up His jewels in whom He has cut the glorious facets of the life of His Son and they shall be raised in the Spirit of holiness as a banner across the earth.

Isaiah 62

1  For Zion's sake I will not be silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until its righteousness goes out as brightness, and her salvation as a burning lamp.

2  And the nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you will be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD will name.

3  You also will be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

4  You will no more be called Forsaken; nor will your land any more be called Desolate; but you will be called My Delight [is] in her, and your land, Married; for the LORD delights in you, And your land Married.

5  For [as] a young man marries a virgin, so will your sons marry you; and [as] the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, [so] will your God rejoice over you.

6  I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will not always be silent all the day nor all the night; you who remember the LORD, do not be silent.

7  And give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8  The LORD has sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength, Surely I will no more give your grain [to be] food for your enemies; and the sons of strangers will not drink your wine for which you have labored.

9  But its gatherers will eat it and praise the LORD; and they who collected it will drink it in My holy courts.

10  Pass! Pass through the gates; prepare the way of the people. Raise up! Raise up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples.

11  Behold, the LORD has sent a message to the end of the earth, Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes. Behold, His reward [is] with Him, and His work before Him.

12  And they will call them, The Holy People, The Redeemed of the LORD; and you will be called, Sought Out, a city not forsaken.

Zechariah 9:11  You also, by the blood of your covenant I have freed your prisoners out of the pit in which there is no water.

12  Turn to the stronghold, prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I shall restore double to you,

13  For I bent Judah for me and I filled the bow with Ephraim, and I will raise up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and make you as the sword of a mighty man."

14  And the LORD shall be seen over them, and His arrow shall go forth like the lightning; and the Lord GOD shall blow the ram's horn, and shall go out with the whirlwinds from the south.

15  The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour and subdue with slingstones. And they shall drink and be boisterous, as through wine. And they shall be filled like a bowl, and like the corners of the altar.

16  And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of His people; for they are as stones of a crown, lifted up as a banner over His land,

17  For how great is its goodness and how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

Isa 11:10 "And in that day there shall be the Root of Jesse standing as a banner for the people; to Him the nations shall seek; and His rest shall be glorious."

Isa 11:12 And He shall lift up a banner for the nations, and shall gather the outcasts of Israel and gather together the scattered ones of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Isa 31:9 And his stronghold will fall by reason of terror and his rulers shall be afraid of the banner," says the LORD, Whose fire is in Zion, and His furnace in Jerusalem.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
