REFLECTIONS OF THE FATHER'S HEART
By Glenn H. Jackson
[Exhortations From
The Father]
* Love is edifying. Hatred, in ANY of
its forms[unforgiveness, mistrust, criticism, etc.], is defiling.
"edifying" - constructive; beneficial; uplifting
[in this case, with a view to one entering into the fullness of their precious inheritance, in Christ];
Latin: "aedificare"
- to build, equivalent to "aedi" - house, temple + "ficare" [lterally: to build a temple {in this case, a human temple wherein the Holy Spirit dwells}];
"defile" - to make foul or dirty; pollute; to tarnish or sully the brightness of [in this case, referring
to the Enemy's attempt to afflict one's spirit {inner man}];
"hatred" - extreme
aversion or hostility to someone or something; intense dislike;
...."There are six things which the LORD hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination
to Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil, A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers".... Proverbs 6:16-19 NASB
