THE BREAKING
POINT HAS COME BUT THE BRUISED REED WILL NOT BE BROKEN
A WORD FOR THE BROKEN, THE NATION, AND FOR FLORIDA,
The Lord spoke these words to me tonight ‘BREAKING POINT” So then I looked up the meaning of “breaking point” and got this…“the moment of greatest strain at which someone or something gives
way.”
Then God gave me the following passage of scripture…” Isaiah 42:3-4 (AMPC) “A bruised
reed He will not break, and a dimly burning wick He will not quench; He will bring forth justice in truth. He will not fail or become weak or be crushed and discouraged till He has established justice in the earth; and the islands and coastal regions shall
wait hopefully for Him and expect His direction and law.” He then told me to look up some things about that passage “a bruised Reed and smoking flax.”
ONLY JESUS CAN HEAL THIS DEEP WOUND
I found this on a website called “Pruitt
Cares” by Dr.Dave Lescalleet. He says here that, “In the Hebrew language, the word we translate in the English as bruise, is a word that means crushed. It implies a deep contusion. This is not merely a break in the skin externally, but rather a
break internally that has injured or destroyed a vital internal organ. Isaiah is talking about maybe something you don’t see on the surface. But on the inside you are so crushed, that you are literally dying. For Isaiah it is the reed that is crushed.
This reed is a stalk of grain that is broken (crushed) at such an angle it will never produce grain. But at the same time this servant that Isaiah is writing about is able to do something that no one can do. He can heal the crushed reed so it can produce grain
once again.” This servant that he was speaking of is a prophecy of Jesus. I love this because he is saying in this passage that Jesus is the only one that can heal this deep of a wound in a person when they are at their breaking point and still use them
for His glory and cause them to bear fruit!
HE WILL NOT LET YOUR LIGHT GO OUT!
The term smoking Flax in King James means a dimly smoldering wick here in the Amplified Classic version. There are many right now who are at their breaking
point like the reed he speaks of and your light has become dim but God is saying to you on a personal level that you are not going to be broken beyond repair and that He is not going to allow your candle (your light no matter how dim it has become to go out!
He is saying to many tonight...
“ You have come to a breaking point in your life and many in their ministries but He sees you and is listening to you and in fact he told me to remind you of this passage in Psalms 34:17-19
“When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles. The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.
Many evils confront the [consistently] righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” He is saying to bring the wounds that you have incurred in your last season of serving Him that you thought were so deep that they have become a part of you
and that have tried to bring you to the breaking point because he wants to use you mightily and when he heals you then your light will not grow dim again but he will take this bruised and broken Reed and make it flourish again!
And verse 4 of Isaiah 42 is for the Nation.
“He will bring forth justice in truth.
He will not fail or become weak or be crushed and discouraged till He has established justice in the earth; and the islands and coastal regions shall wait hopefully for Him and expect His direction and law.”
THE NATION AT A BREAKING POINT
God
said to me “ The nation is at a “Breaking Point” but like my people I will not break a bruised reed or quench the smoldering wick of America, not the America that I promised her forefathers that she would be a beacon of light to the world.”
He said, “Notice it says that when the islands and coastal lands wait hopefully on Me and expect My direction and law, then I will establish justice in their land!”
A WORD FOR FLORIDA
“Florida my Florida you have waited for me and expected my law and My help and so you
shall have it and you are now an example of what I shall do throughout the country. You will be a light again and many of your States shall follow your lead for I have heard your cries Florida! But now My ear is turned toward the broken States of America and
My people are crying out to me in them! Yes many will depart but those States that cry out for My ways< I will not put out their light but they will become lights to those Goat States around them! No, I will not break this bruised Nation nor blow out her
candle for I have a covenant with her forefathers as they turn to me the fountain of living waters says your God!”
