Be Alert, Be Vigilant

By Georgette Thompson

The Father says today, be alert, be vigilant for your adversary, seeks whom he may devour. He cannot devour you as you stand and resist him in faith; give him no place in your thought life, no place in your speech, no place in your home or communications. He is not My equal and no match for what I Am doing. Avoid his distractions and deceptions that only cause you to lose focus. Be steadfast, immoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain. I Am not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love that you have shown toward My name and your ministry to others.

As you show this same diligence and are fully assured and hopeful, not lazy or lagging behind, but followers of those who through faith and patience, you will inherit the promises. Just as Abraham endured and received, so shall you when you follow his example. Your hope is powerful and is why there is a war against it, so you will give up causing your hope to be deferred. Warring with My Word, when you speak forth what I’ve said over you, keeps your focus on the vision that is yet for the appointed time, it will manifest and it will not tarry. As you patiently wait for it, it shall surely come.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
