Those
who shall sit with Christ at His table in His kingdom.
What I so love about the call to deny ourselves in the way of the cross, in obedience unto the death of self is that it exposes the true condition
of man's heart before the God who transforms us until we operate and function naturally out of the beauty and selflessness of true love, which can only be satisfied by the benefit of others - Luke 22:25-27
And he said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you; rather let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves.
For which is the greater, one who sits at table, or one who serves?
Is it not the one who sits at table?
But I
am among you as one who serves.
These are the great ones that will be assigned a portion amongst the great and be counted worthy to sit with the King at His table, those who, like Christ, have poured their souls
out as a drink offering before the Father in obedience to His John 15 commandment, that no greater love has a man than to lay down his life for his friends.
Isaiah 53:12 Therefore I (the Father) will
divide Him (Yeshua) a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.
