WE SHALL BE REWARDED FOR OUR PATIENCE & AFFLICTIONS WE’VE ENDURED
By Pieter Kirstein
We shall be rewarded for our patience and afflictions we've endured.
Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the
name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful,
and of tender mercy.
We are brought to maturity in the fire.
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall
into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
But He knows the way that I take; [when] He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
11 My foot has held fast in His steps; I have kept His way, and have not fallen away;
12 nor have I
gone back from the commandment of His lips; I treasured the words of His mouth more than my portion.
