If God is for me . . . who can be against me?

Resist the enemy . . .

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse
you, do good to those who hate you ...

Have you ever had the voice of the enemy come to you through friends or family or acquaintances to tell you that you are not called? Or that you are not who God says you are? Or that you have an invalid ministry calling from God? Or that you are nothing special or IF you are really the child of God?

You are in good company because the devil did the same thing to Jesus in the wilderness testings. The devil said to Jesus, “If You are really the Son of God, turn these stones into bread.”  Did you see the ”IF” there?  The devil always comes to attempt to cause you to question your call from the Lord.  The enemy will even use those who are close to you at times to say, “You are no this or that.”  There has to be a clear level of KNOWING who you are in Christ and KNOW HIM WHO IS IN YOU.

You can be sure that when you are moving into new levels in your walk and calling that the enemy will send someone across your path to challenge your calling from God.  The devil is an accuser and the accuser of the brethren.  Sadly he uses men or women and sometimes even those who are close to you.

It should be obvious when those voices come that it is the voice of the devil come to challenge who God has called you to be.  It happened to Jesus and if you walk long enough, it will happen to you.

Through the years, the Lord will confirm over and over again your calling and purpose within your own heart and confirming words of the prophetic.  Stand in the confidence of Christ and refute every word of the accuser.  We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and rulers of the darkness and spiritual wicked hosts.

Stand therefore clothed in the full armor of God in the evil day.  Wear the breastplate of righteousness and know who you are IN CHRIST.  Take up the shield of Faith and the sword of the Spirit of God.  Have on your head and mind, the Helmet of Salvation to maintain clear thinking that aligns with Gods Word.

“And no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises up to accuse you, you shall condemn for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord…”

from Isaiah 54:17 NKJV

Realize challenges will come and not everyone understands your walk with God.  So stand, wear His armor, Bless and keep moving forward.

“And when those temptations were finished, the devil left Him until an opportune time.”

The testing is only for a short season and if we learn how to properly respond to testing, the enemy has to flee.  We must be those who give no place to the devil, keep short accounts and align with Gods word in our responses… even if we miss it initially.  The Lord knows how to get us back on track when the devil has come to derail you, if we will quickly repent and ask for the Lords help.  His Word is our measuring stick, our anchor, our plumb line and He will rightly align your thinking when the enemy has attacked.  We need His Word every day and at all times.

Submit therefore to God, Resist the devil and he shall flee from you in stark terror.

LUKE 4:1-13 NKJV

“Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’ ” Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” And Jesus answered and said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ” Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.”

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
