FIRE BY NIGHT
By Glenn H. Jackson
"Reflections Upon
Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to
guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB
FREEDOM FROM
WHAT PEOPLE "THINK"
Words of prophecy:
*____A man/woman of understanding keeps silent [speaks
no "inordinate" word] in order to maintain his/her position on the path of righteousness [righteous motivation]. For ANY unwholesome [self-justifying] word
spoken [even in the face of great reproach and provocation] is simply "fodder" for the Enemy to fuel the flames of strife and division.
"inordinate" -
excessive; unrestrained in conduct, feelings etc; disorderly; uncontrolled;
"fodder" - raw material;
"provocation" - something
that potentially incites, instigates, angers or irritates;
____...."He who belittles and despises his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding keeps silent. He who goes about as a talebearer
reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy and faithful in spirit keeps the matter hidden".... Proverbs 11:12-13 The Amplified Translation
...."Let no foul or polluting
language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace
(God's favor) to those who hear it.... Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath (passion, rage, bad temper) and resentment (anger, animosity) and quarreling (brawling, clamor, contention) and slander (evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language) be
banished from you, with all malice (spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind)".... Ephesians 4:29,31 The Amplified Translation
____There are some things that must remain in one's heart [through
our silence] - regardless of what others might "mistakenly" think of us. People are either going to think of another what the Father reveals to their heart or what the Enemy plants in their mind - through a ground of pride. It is the
way of the Cross to NOT be moved [influenced] in any way by what others may "think".
____...."Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone wishes to come
after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his [self] life will lose it; but whoever loses [denies] his [self] life for My sake will find it ["zoe"- divine life]'".....
Matthew 16:24-25 NASB
...."For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant
of Christ".... Galatians 1:10 NASB
Prayer of Proclamation:
____ Father, we thank You and praise You that IN Christ You have
set us free from what others may think about us. We thank You and praise You that You have raised us up a people who find both our acceptance and approval in Your great Love for us. And we declare all these things DONE [on an ongoing
basis] in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
