Supernatural Abundance and Provision

Earlier this year, a friend and a spiritual daughter (who are both prophets) prophesied to me very similar words about a particular business investment. I have known both to be accurate prophetically. However, when the first prophet gave me the word about this particular investment, I thought he was really "reaching," or adding a little bit of his own self-thought to what God was actually saying. I felt more confident in this word after the young lady (my spiritual daughter) released the same word.

Often, when two or three individuals don't know each other and give you the same word, it is God's way of affirming the prophetic message. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 13:1, "...In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”

This particular business venture had never been of interest to me. Even after receiving the prophetic words, I had no desire for this line of business. It wasn't until months later, when I re-read these words, that the Holy Spirit sparked something in my heart. As I began to pray into them, I realized that they were not only a key to a supernatural harvest in my life, but also to supernatural provision. They were a key that God was giving my family and ministry to help prepare us to experience SUPERNATURAL ABUNDANCE in the midst of any season of economic downturn, super inflation or stagflation.

Last year, God had me release a word to the ministries which He has allowed me to cover, and also publicly in a video, that there would be a disruption of food supply chains, and that supply and food shortages were coming. I believe the first disruption has already happened, as a record number of cargo boats were stuck at sea, and shipping ports experienced backups. Another small disruption happened shortly when Canadian truckers protested mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations. The Lord intimated to me that there would be two more causes for disruption to the supply chains (the resultant effects of the war in Ukraine could possibly be one).

God Always Prepares His People

One day as I was praying with grave concern over these matters, I heard the voice of the Lord laugh a very hearty laugh, and my soul became flooded with joy.

Often, certain prophetic words may first bring discouragement to the hearer, but as we delve into the heart of God, we find that words of caution are often opportunities to experience supernatural breakthrough, supernatural harvest and supernatural favor.

As I heard the Lord laugh, it was impressed upon me that THE LORD HAS NO WORRIES, and if we walk with Him, we shouldn't either – no matter what comes our way – because He has already cleared the path for supernatural provision.

If we are faithful in prayer and exercise our faith, the wisdom and foreknowledge of God will not only prepare us for what is to come, but it will make us overcomers in the midst of any season. This happened during the days of Joseph. God used him to prepare Egypt for famine and sustain his entire family. Also, in the book of Acts, the Church was prepared way in advance for the global dearth that was to come, which was prophesied through a prophet named Agabus.

"And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar." (Acts 11:28)

The nations of the world may be caught off guard, vexed and at their wits' end about what to do, but God always prepares His people.

Revelation in the Backseat of an Uber

Serving God and following the voice of the Holy Spirit has always been an exciting journey for me. The Lord always has colorful ways of leading His children (if we will listen) and is very creative in how He gives answers to life's problems and the questions we pose to Him.

Recently, God gave me the answer I had been praying about. I never would have thought a revelation would come to me this way. I had received those two prophetic words about an investment, but I had no insight from God about the location or functionality of this particular investment. A few days after asking God several questions along these lines, I found myself in the backseat of an Uber with a driver who was from another country.

As we talked, he discovered that I was a minister of the Gospel and had visited his country several times. Halfway through the Uber ride, he switched gears in the conversation and said, "Pastor, God is telling me to tell you something. I want you to listen carefully!" He asked me to access the calculator on my phone as he began to rattle off figures and numbers for me to crunch. He finished with, "How would you like to earn this amount monthly?”

The numbers he rattled off made no sense, and I was hoping he would provide further information. The driver then related to me how he had been flying on a plane and happened to sit beside a wealthy businessman who was from the area of the Himalayas. This man felt led to give him all of the ins and outs of a certain business endeavor. At first he was skeptical, but after he and his wife did the research and prayed, they decided to take a leap of faith. Fast-forward seven years – the blueprint the man gave him on the plane worked, and it allowed him to pay off three mortgages. Also, his daughter, who was a young pharmacist for CVS, left the pharmacy profession to run the business for the family.

The driver exclaimed to me boldly, "PASTOR, I DON'T OWE ANYONE A THING!" He also shared with me that the only reason why he drove for Uber was to make a few extra dollars on the side and have a reason to get out of the house since he was a retiree.

Interestingly, two of the mortgages he was able to pay off were in locations near where I had once lived in Virginia. The location where he recommended I start this investment was in the EXACT SAME location that a prophetic friend of mine (who used to run a foundation for a former president) had asked me, "How would you feel about doing business in XYZ location?" Also, this driver had no idea that I had already been asking God about an investment along these same lines for a business strategy He had given me.

Thank God for the terrible Atlanta traffic that day. It gave me more time in the Uber to ask questions and receive answers. Also, it gave the Uber driver a chance to hear from God and share with me what he called his “secret."

As he dropped me off, we exchanged phone numbers. He never asked me to be in business with him or give him money. The driver adamantly decreed once again, "Pastor, take heed of what I'm telling you. There is a reason God told me to share this with you today. God has something great for you!”

Six Principles We Can Apply

As of yet, God has not led me to disclose what was shared with me. However, through this experience, we can all build our faith and apply the following principles, which will help prepare us in this season and every season to come:

1. Remember that God has promised to make provision for His children (Philippians 4:19).

2. Know that God promises to lead and not forsake us (Isaiah 42:16).

3. Be open to whatever God tells you to do, even if it seems a bit out of the box for you (2 Kings 13). Uncommon obedience produces uncommon breakthrough.

4. Remember that it is God who gives the power or ability to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18).

5. Keep your heart pure and repent when needed. Sins can block blessings (Jeremiah 5:25).

6. Expect God to work supernaturally in your life. Don't believe the report of man over the report of the Lord (Isaiah 59:1; 53:1).

Father, in Jesus' mighty name, I decree and declare that the supernatural wisdom and foreknowledge of God is causing witty inventions (Proverbs 8:12), ideas, business strategies, favor and open doors to be released supernaturally to Your children, which will buffer them against economic changes, make them pillars of stability and bring testimonies of supernatural abundance into their lives, in Jesus' mighty name.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
