______...."This book of the law [the Word of God] shall not depart from [always be in] your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful [take heed] to do according to all that is written in it; for THEN you will make your way prosperous, and THEN you will have success".... Joshua 1:8 NASB

[part 1 of 5]

Love's Good Pleasure

*____We have seen healing for the world in the Name of Jesus. We have seen healing for the carnally minded believer through the elders.

____Now let us see healing for the man who enjoys the fulness, of his privileges in Christ.

____Isaiah 53 is a preview of Jesus' public ministry and His Substitutionary Sacrifice.

____It is a veiled prophecy, but it is revealed now through the Pauline Revelation as belonging to us.

____He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of pains and acquainted with disease. He was a root out of dry ground. But He was precious to the Father, though condemned by the world.

____As one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our sicknesses, and carried our diseases; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

____He was stricken and smitten of God with our diseases. Every disease known to the human race was laid upon Jesus.

____Isaiah 52:14, "Like as many were astonished at thee (his visage was so marred more than any man), and his form more than the sons of men".

____The margin of the Cross-Reference Bible reads, "Men were dumbfounded at Him, for deformed was His appearance so as not to be a man, and his figure so as not to be human."

____Or, "So shall many be amazed over Him. His visage was so marred, unlike to a man, and His form unlike the sons of men. His visage was so as not to be a man, and his figure no longer resembled a man."

____He was made sin with our sin. He was under the dominion of Satan.

____This is a description of Jesus' spirit, not His body.

____He was made sick with our diseases and when those diseases came upon His precious spirit, He no longer resembled a man.

____The heart cannot take it in. Reason stands dumb in the presence of statements like these.

____He was stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

____It was God who laid our diseases upon Him. It was justice that demanded a recompense for our offenses.

____He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

[Exhortations From The Father]

*       A "counselor of peace" is one who continually ministers the absolute Truth of My Word concerning Spiritual Reality and, indeed, every aspect of my Glorious plan of Redemption that has ALREADY been accomplished for mankind. The fruit of those who are "counselors of peace" is a great and abiding joy.

...."Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counselors of peace have joy".... Proverbs 12:20b NASB

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
