3 Scriptures for Finding Peace From Anxiety

“Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday … For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.” Psalm 91:5-6, 11

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Dear Lord,

Your Word is not merely a treatment for fear but an inoculation against anxious thoughts. Anxiety loses its stronghold as I fill my mind and spirit with Your truth and promises. Fear no longer has the upper hand. Place a hedge of protection around me, Lord. Guard my heart, soul, body, and mind. Let my default position be one of prayer — continuously bringing all that’s on my mind and laying it at Your feet. I’m trading every anxious thought for Your peace.

I needed to hear this today. Its been sooo very difficult for a long time honestly asked God if I was the toxic one and just didn't realize it so I could repent

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
