______...."This book of the law [the Word of God] shall not depart from [always be in] your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful [take heed] to do according to all that is written in it; for THEN you will make your way prosperous, and THEN you will have success".... Joshua 1:8 NASB

*____A man who covers up the cross though he may be an intellectual man, and draw large crowds will have no ilk there, and his church will be but a gilded sepulcher.

"gilded" - having a pleasing or showy appearance that conceals something of little worth;

        ...."Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be [will not be found fit to be] My disciple".... Luke 14:27 NASB

        ...."For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God".... 1 Corinthians 1:18 NASB

[Exhortations From The Father]

*       If one is faithful to bring EVERY thought captive to a revelation of My Word [on an ongoing basis] THEN it is certain that EVERY word they speak and EVERY action they carry out will be the spontaneous fruit of that faithfulness - empowering them to a perfect obedience on all fronts.

"perfect obedience" - receiving a revelation of the Father's Will, and then carrying out that Will in the timing [unction] and power of the Holy Spirit - alone [through the continual exercising of an absolute faith working through a perfect love];

        ...."We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the true knowledge of God [and who we ALREADY are, in Christ], and we are taking every thought captive [through proclamation] to the obedience of Christ [a revelation of the Father's Will]".... 2 Corinthians 10:5 NASB

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
