REFLECTIONS OF THE FATHER'S HEART

By Glenn H. Jackson

[Exhortations From The Father]

*       A "true" trust is motivated by one's Love for Me based on a "confidence" in My true Nature and Character - as revealed in My Word through the Holy Spirit to their heart [spirit, inner man].

...."The entrance and unfolding of Your words [into one's heart {spirit}] give light [revelation]; their unfolding gives understanding [discernment and comprehension]".... Psalms 119:130 The Amplified Translation

...."And ye shall know [gain a revelation of] the Truth [the Word of God], and the Truth [that revelation of the Word of God that enters your heart] shall make [and keep] you free".... John 8:32 KJV

MEDITATIONS ON THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE

By Glenn H. Jackson

______...."This book of the law [the Word of God] shall not depart from [always be in] your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful [take heed] to do according to all that is written in it; for THEN you will make your way prosperous, and THEN you will have success".... Joshua 1:8 NASB

THE TWO CONFESSIONS

[part 2 of 11]

___...."Death and life are in the power of [released through] the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life][Matt. 12:37]".... Proverbs 18:21 The Amplified Translation

*       Our faith or unbelief is determined by our confession.

___Few of us realize the effect of our spoken word on our own heart or on our Adversary.

___He hears us make our confession of failure, of sickness, of lack, and apparently he doesn't forget; and we unconsciously [although we should be conscious of it] go down to the level of our confession.

___No one ever rises above it.

___If you confess sickness, it develops sickness in your system.

___If you confess doubt, the doubts become stronger.

___If you confess lack of finances, it stops the money from coming in.

___You say, "I can't understand this."

___No. Because most of us live in the sense realm and spiritual things are very indistinct.

___Heb. 4:14 must become a constant reality: "Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession."

___Our confession is that the Word cannot be broken; that what the Father says is true.

___When we doubt the Father, we are doubting His Word.

___When we doubt His Word, it is because we believe something else that is contrary to that Word.

___Our confidence may be in the arm of flesh; it may be in medicine; it may be in institutions; but whatever our confidence is in, if it contradicts the Word it destroys our faith life.

___It destroys our prayers.

___It brings us again into bondage.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
