MEDITATIONS ON THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE

By Glenn H. Jackson

______...."This book of the law [the Word of God] shall not depart from [always be in] your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful [take heed] to do according to all that is written in it; for THEN you will make your way prosperous, and THEN you will have success".... Joshua 1:8 NASB

THE TWO CONFESSIONS

[part 5 of 11]

Realization Follows Confessions

"positive confession" - to acknowledge that the Father and His Word are the supreme authority over our lives with every word we speak and every action we carry out in correspondence with a revelation of the Father's Word/Will;

____...."But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak [proclaim]".... 2 Corinthians 4:13 NASB

____...."Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession".... Hebrews 3:1 NASB

*____We walk in the light of our testimony - our faith never goes beyond our confession.

____The Word becomes real only as we confess its reality. The reason for this is, "We walk by faith and not by sight."

____Sense knowledge would confess only what it had seen, heard or felt.

____The people who are seeking experiences always walk by the senses.

____Our testimony of the reality of the Word is feared by Satan.

____"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth." This reacts on our heart just as doubt spoken by the lips reacts on our heart.

____You talk of your doubts and your fears, and you destroy your faith.

____You talk of the ability of the Father that is yours, and fill your lips with praise for answers to prayers that you have asked. Its reaction upon the heart is tremendous: Faith grows by leaps and bounds.

____You talk about your trials and your difficulties, of your lack of faith, of your lack of money, and faith shrivels, loses its virility.

____Your whole spirit life shrinks.

____You study about what you are in Christ and then confess it boldly.

____You dare to act on the Word in the face of sense knowledge opposition.

____Regardless of appearance, you take your stand; make your confession and hold fast to it in the face of apparent impossibilities.

REFLECTIONS OF THE FATHER'S HEART

By Glenn H. Jackson

[Exhortations From The Father]

*       Those who fear the Truth will remain bound to "lies".

...."You [Pharisee] are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is NO truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and te father of lies".... John 8:44 NASB

___ ...."God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love [trust], and of a sound mind".... 2 Timothy 1:7 Young's Literal Translation

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
