REFLECTIONS OF THE FATHER'S HEART
By Glenn H. Jackson
[Exhortations From The Father]
* Keeping it simple in one's life [through a perfect focus] blocks out "excessive thoughts" - and this allows for an absolute faith in My
Word to go forth [and highest purpose be accomplished], in any given moment.
"simplicity" - freedom from complexity, intricacy, or division into parts: plainness [in
this case, a life of purity, singleness of purpose and great clarity]; freedom from deceit or guile;
...."But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived
Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ".... 2 Corinthians 11:3 NASB
...."let us run with endurance
the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus [the Word of God], the author and perfecter of faith [Who is seated at the right Hand of the Father]"....
Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB
...."We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the true knowledge of God [and who we ALREADY
are, in Christ], and we are taking every thought captive [through proclamation] to the obedience of Christ [a revelation of the Father's Will]"....
2 Corinthians 10:5 NASB
Meditations . . .
MEDITATIONS ON THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE
By Glenn H. Jackson
______...."This book of the law [the Word of God] shall not depart from [always be in] your
mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful [take heed] to do according to all that is written in it; for THEN you will make your way prosperous, and THEN you will have
success".... Joshua 1:8 NASB
METHODS OF HEALING
[part 4 of 4]
*____A fifth method of healing is found in Matthew 18:18-20.
____"If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall
ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
____Where two are united, and are demanding in Jesus' Name
the healing of loved ones, prayer is bound to be answered. God watches over His Word to make it good.
Healing in Redemption
____There is another method of healing
which I believe to be the best. Isaiah 53:3-5, "Surely he hath borne our sicknesses, and carried our diseases; yet, we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted." He was smitten with our diseases.
was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
____Here is the absolute statement of fact that by His stripes
we are healed.
____1 Pet. 2:24, Who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.
____Matthew 8:16-17, That it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our diseases.
____These scriptures prove that healing
is ours. We simply know that by His stripes we are healed. We thank the Father for our perfect deliverance. It is not necessary that we pray, or ask the Father to heal us.
____We know that He said, By His stripes
ye were healed. The afflictions in our bodies were laid upon Jesus. He bore them. We do not need to bear them.
____All we need to do is to recognize and accept that fact. We refuse to allow disease in our bodies.
We are healed.
____Every believer should thoroughly understand that his healing was consummated in Christ.
It would mean the end of chronic troubles in the body of the believer.
