Heard," You are My Hawk-Eyed Raptors of the Last Days!”

By Deborah Waldron Fry

For the last couple hours, I have been watching the wind blowing outside my front window down into the valley below and there are hawks catching the thermals and just soaring above the fields and every once in awhile they swoop down to catch their prey. The smaller birds are hiding in the bushes trying to get away from the wind, but the hawks are riding the winds unafraid, using them to their advantage. I researched hawks and they are birds of prey also called raptors, that have extremely keen eyesight and are considered the most intelligent of birds. Some have even set fields on FIRE purposefully to pick off their prey! Isn't that amazing! Oh, this is who you are, Warrior of God! This is who God is making you to be in the last days by His Spirit. Flying high above the chaos on His Winds of the Spirit; you are fearless, perceptive, intelligent, vigilant, observant, and very difficult to deceive!

"Beloved. This is the Time of the Last Days when the winds of chaos are swirling around the earth. But I have raised you up for such a time as this. I have been training you in the Womb of the Spirit and it is time to break forth onto the Winds of the Spirit, on the Breath of your God. Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. You shall rise up on wings as eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint.

"You are not ordinary eagles, but raptors with the keenest eyesight of all. For I have need of you. I need your keen vision to spot the enemy, to be the watchmen on the wall, to warn when the enemy approaches and to be fearless in your pursuit of him. I have given you My Spirit that you would hear what others do not hear and see what others do not see, and perceive what others do not perceive.

" You will not be distracted by the enemy but you keep your eyes on the Prize. You keep your eyes on your Savior and your mind and heart fixed on the things of the Spirit. I have given you 20/20 spiritual vision that the enemy will not be able to stir without you perceiving his motion. And you shall swoop down in intercession and rout out the enemy and cause him to flee in terror.

" You are My Birds of Prey and nothing shall escape your discernment. You are snake hunters and giant killers. The Gift of Discernment is given to discern what is of your God, what is of the flesh, and what is of the devil. By the Spirit, you shall know the true heart and intentions of a person. You shall cast out devils, raise the dead, heal the sick, make the blind to see and the deaf to hear, and set the captives free. My Glorious Fire in you shall DESTROY the works of the devil.

" Oh Beloved! Do you see how marvelous this is? My Anointing is upon you and it will destroy every yoke! Wherever you go, demons will flee, for they can no longer hide from you. You are the Seers of the Last Days, My Hawk-Eyed Warriors on Fire who keep watch from the Heavenly Realms and swoop down to rescue the dying, the lost, and the afflicted, to chase the enemy and to rout out and destroy his lies. I have caught you up with Me. Hear the Spirit calling, "When the Wind of the Spirit blows, Warrior, come on and ride the Wind!"

HAWK EYED: Having extremely keen sight, Someone who is hawk-eyed watches and notices everything that happens. Acutely perceptive. A spotter, sharp-eyed, eagle-eyed.  Vigilant, perceptive, observant, keen-sighted. To notice every small detail or everything that is happening, and therefore be very difficult to deceive. (Dictionaries online)

RAPTOR: A carnivorous medium- to large-sized bird (such as a HAWK, eagle, owl, or vulture) that has a hooked beak and large sharp talons. Bird of prey. A large strong bird. First recorded in 1350–1400; Middle English raptour “ravener; plunderer; bird of prey,” from Latin raptor “robber, ravager,” equivalent to RAPTURO meaning “to seize by force."

RAPTURO: The English word comes from a Latin word, rapio, which means "to seize or snatch" in relation to an ecstasy of spirit or the actual removal from one place to another. In other words, it means to be carried away in spirit or in body.

The RAPTURE of the church means the carrying away of the church from earth to heaven.  The Greek word from this term “rapture” is derived appears in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, translated “caught up.” The Latin translation of this verse used the word RAPTURO. The Greek word it translates is harpazo, which means to snatch or take away.

Elsewhere it is used to describe how the Spirit caught up Philip near Gaza and brought him to Caesarea (Acts 8:39) and to describe Paul’s experience of being caught up into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2-4). Thus there can be no doubt that the word is used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 to indicate the actual removal of people from earth to heaven. (Bible, org)

HAWK: There are more than 200 species of hawks found worldwide. Exhibiting a wide variety of sizes, they all posses excellent vision, speed, and sharp talons. With the ability to fly up to 120 miles/hour when diving for prey and sharp talons for capturing, the hawk represents the strength and courage of a warrior. Hawks mate for life yet they remain fiercely independent. Except for migration, they rarely flock together. A hawk represents the ability to see situations from a higher perspective. Hawk represented military skill and victory in many parts of the Far East and were viewed as mighty warriors.

A hawk’ s visual acuity contributes to its success as a hunter. Having binocular vision, a hawk can see eight times better than humans with 20/20 vision. and has the ability to focus quickly while diving. Red-tailed hawks can spy small prey from 100 yards away. Though many raptors use natural wildfires to capture prey, ONLY THE HAWK INTENTIONALLY STARTS FIRES to pick off their prey. They are considered among the most intelligent of birds. (Judith Shaw)

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." 1 Peter 5:8

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you.”  Ephesians 1:16-18

To have the eyes of our hearts opened means that we are given wisdom and revelation pertaining to the riches of the glorious inheritance we have in Christ. (Ephesians 1:18) It means that we understand the hope and assurance of our salvation. And it means that we are able to partake in the GREATNESS of God’s IMMEASURABLE POWER, by the working of His Spirit in us. (Ephesians 1:19-20)

"The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14

"To one there is given through the Spirit a word of wisdom, to another a word of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,  to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another DISCERNING OF SPIRITS, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues."  1 Corinthians 12:8-10

"But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of DISCERNMENT trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil." Hebrews 5:14
