GOD’S GLORY SHALL BE POURED OUT THROUGH HIS LAID DOWN LOVERS

BY PIETER KIRSTEIN

God's glory shall be poured out through His laid down lovers.

It's not for those who seek to be seen, to elevate themselves, who covets honor, self-esteem and self worship and want to use God and others to make a name for themselves.

His glory comes at great price, through death to self because the carnal sinful, prideful, arrogant fleshly man cannot handle God's glory.

It's poured out and administered by His Spirit only, through humble, broken and contrite vessels who are poor in spirit.

He builds and sets up His dwelling and throne within those who have laid themselves down on the altar of demonstrated love.

Your heart must become His altar of incense on which you have sacrificed yourself. His love is poured into a heart that's been emptied of self and the fallen and lustful ways, distractions and desires this world. We are called to become the living habitation of God and to be only led by His Spirit for His glory and His purposes.

Isaiah 66

1  Thus says the LORD, The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that you build unto Me? and where is the place of My rest?

2  For all those things has My hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at My word.

IF YOU DESIRE TO LIVE THE HIGHER LIFE OF THE SPIRIT, THEN YOU MUST BE WILLING TO BE STRIPPED OF THE LOWER WAYS OF YOUR FLESH.

Isaiah 57

15  For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

You must lay down your life to pick up His life and to walk as He walked  - Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
